  • cheekos Nick Walkland (@cheekos) reported from Exton, England

6 months into 18 month fibre broadband contract and @VodafoneUK hike price from £23 to £25.50. OK, not bad, but took option to jump ship. Now staying... Doubled speed to 76mbps at old price but now with an extra 10% discount and new router. So £20.70 all in. #topdeal #speedy

  • markglynnejones Mark Glynne-Jones (@markglynnejones) reported from Gretton, England

@VodafoneUK Good of you but a letter from NHS to support case hasn’t worked so.. after over 30 years as a personal/biz customer and even having Vod as a client it’s goodbye from us x3...

  • damiankinsella8 Damian Kinsella (@damiankinsella8) reported from Stamford, England

Looking forward to leaving @EE - what became one of the best networks, has become the worst in all departments. And I certainly won’t be stonkin up £10 extra a month for 5G. Why can’t you be like @o2 @VodafoneUK keeping prices affordable & the same @EE 😡

  • swurra Simon Willars (@swurra) reported from Desborough, England

So you may have a good network and plans but your customer service via @VOXI_UK and @VodafoneUK is seriously awful! I’ve had reason to move to another network and my wife will undoubtedly follow after a shocking episode of failed customer service!

  • fenroots01 Fenton Roots (@fenroots01) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had a similar experience 5 years ago over bills I was told I didn’t owe. They flagged me on my credit score stopped a mortgage application. Tied to mail CEO never got a response shamed them on FB

  • InnesMarlow Innes Marlow (@InnesMarlow) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I have played a similar frustrating game with them, it's policy - but around the same time I dealt with another supplier who were the total opposite, really switched on to these issues, and gave a full refund. I won't plug them but they have a big venue that used to be a dome!

  • IdiotsOfTwitr Idiotsoftheinternet (@IdiotsOfTwitr) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK @VodafoneUk are easily the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Rude and useless customer service. I was overcharged by £1000, spent 50 hours on the phone trying to resolve it. They just passed it on to debt collectors.

  • SteveEgan12 Sir Steve Egan of Brookfield (@SteveEgan12) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Terrible company. Rolled over a contract I had without authorisation, later claiming I verbally agreed via phone. A lie. I got money back via bank only for them to send threatening letters. Appealed to ombudsman and lost. Despite them having zero evidence of contract agreement.

  • Scallyanne Sally Barclay (@Scallyanne) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My mum has since died, never having recovered from the strokes, but we will never use Vodafone again and I’ve told everyone I know how shockingly they treat people.

  • sykeschris3 Christopher Sykes (@sykeschris3) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Based on this info my company will never use Vodafone equipment in the future .. End of.

  • Odellpiero Ryan O'Dell (@Odellpiero) reported

@VodafoneUK you are a disgrace trying to give us a call about a problem with my daughters phone who is abroad and going around in circles trying to speak to a human instead of your bloody answer service

  • Scallyanne Sally Barclay (@Scallyanne) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had exactly the same problem with Vodafone in Spain when my mum had a series of strokes and was incapable of anything. I tried to cancel her contract, jumped through all the hips they put up, kept a record of everything as I was fully prepared to go to court. 1/2

  • KaneClements11 Kane Clements (@KaneClements11) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I hadto cancel my father’s Sky account when he went into care. Finding a number to call was almost impossible. Sky has an appalling reputation. I finally got through to a human and pretended to be dad. Put on a pathetic voice, got patronised + account closed. Result. Arseholes.

  • gffcontwitch OFFICIAL GFFCONTWITCH 🇬🇧 Farming Plays G.S.P (@gffcontwitch) reported

@JillHudson21 @VodafoneUK I once got in to over 1k debt with Vodafone, I just got lazy and couldn't be arsed to pay my bill, as the signal coverage sucked, after that I left and went to O2
