.@VodafoneUK Very dissatisfied with your broadband service. We were promised our broadband router will arrive on 2nd August. Then that became 13th August. Then 16th August. Then that became today. 3 different reschedules and we have not received the router 😡😡.

This is despite written confirmation (via email) that .@VodafoneUK are waiving the fee for us as compensation for the lack of service. YET ANOTHER LIE.

@thisisjmx @VodafoneUK I had so many system issues, having used to work there I know why sometimes the systems were a nightmare. Think I'm all finally sorted though

@O2 the only phone company who actively are encouraging me not to upgrade and not even trying to help me. Waiting 30 mins to speak to a human who couldn’t give a toss, and the online options also misleading and unhelpful. @VodafoneUK where you at?!

@quocdang @VodafoneUK @EE Lol yep same here, I know the status is completed. So they are just fobbing us off rather than fixing the issue

Beyond disappointed. I’ve been a customer with .@VOXI_UK - and never had any issues whatsoever. Yet my experience with .@VodafoneUK broadband team has been nothing but a great disappointment.

Anyone else had this issue with @VodafoneUK I’ve been with them for a very long time.I wanted to leave them years ago for various reasons, but they apologised and offered me a deal I couldn’t refuse so I signed up to a new contract. Now discovered I’m paying £80pm@MoneyTelegraph

@VodafoneUK @onecom so you sold my father, who has dementia, a plan and when his wife called up to cancel and explain she was told she had to pay and if she didn’t there would be ‘consequences’. Is threatening dementia patients and their families part of your business model?

@CllrEmmaMorse @virginmedia @bt_uk @SkyUK @VodafoneUK @BenPBradshaw Amazing how we are living in this “Digital Age” and yet there are these “Connectivity Black Spots” within the city 🙄 Amazing and disappointing the private companies don’t want to help/get more customers 😕 @BenPBradshaw works so hard for Exeter, lobbying away on everything!😊👍

@VodafoneUK I thought you guys were supposed to be being helpful during lock down. Suspended a work phone which I haven't used for obvious reasons for 4 months and stolen £25 of my credit. Nice!!!

I have never had so many issues with a company as I have with @VodafoneUK. One full week with no broadband and not a single person can tell me what's going on. One minute my account is apparently cancelled, the next it should be working. Absolutely ridiculous & awful service.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My mother-in-law has had many of the same issues with Virgin. 😩
-
Mark James Talbot
(@thesandbag) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It's seemingly standard business practice for any subscription model service, make it far too much effort to leave so you just pay. Its a seriously poor part of consumer rights that needs to be made much better. You should be able to cancel for any reason at any time
-
Bernie Reddington
(@Bernie_Bus) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @GdVikki @VodafoneUK I make a complaint and get transferred to the business department again where I have to go through the whole thing from scratch that I’m not a business customer and I’m just there because I need accessible statements! Advisor tells me he can easily transfer me if I pay £120!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It's awful. Glad you got it sorted. We had this with a different company and a relative that had passed. It was so distressing.
-

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK the lesson here is don't bother having contracts, the monthly pay as you deals are just as good if not better nowadays and you can dump them and move on if there's any hassle. The whole contract system benefits them not the customer.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Their customer service has always been dreadful but this takes the biscuit. Cannot WAIT for my contract to end so I can take my business elsewhere. I’m sorry for your loss, and I really hope your dad is okay 🤍

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Awful story! I have to say that when my wife died 3 years ago I was impressed by how every company and government department I dealt with sorting out her affairs had dedicated "bereavement staff" who made everything very easy.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I cancelled my account because there was no Vodafone service where I lived. I found myself in the debt collection parallel universe too. I just sent a summary of the timeline to the Company Secretary and everything was instantly cancelled. But it shouldn’t need to be like that.
