Congratulations @VodafoneUK for the worst customer service I have ever seen. My account is still broken since I joined you in November. You said it would be fixed with the next bill and it isn’t. I joined in November! It’s March and this is still happening. #poorcustomerservice

@Luetin09 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is unfortunate for me to read because my personal experience with Vodafone has been stellar thus far, it's utterly unforgivable how these companies treat elderly individuals and worse still how they treat the bereaved.. I sincerely hope they change their ways.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Yes it is. It happened to me after only two months of being a customer. I will never ever be a Vodafone customer again. And I will tell others not to use them too.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Tried to cancel a contract with Vodafone UK in 2015 (broke uni student at the time) but after several phone calls (an in-person shop visits) I wasn't getting anywhere so cancelled the DD. Sent debt collectors after me. Never had a contract with them since and never will again.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Brilliant article and soooo true, BT have been just as bad until they usffered similar publicity. Suggest to Vodafone that they employ an older person, (me) who has suffered through their piratical behaviour, who could guide them to better customer service.

@VodafoneUK I have just this minute left your Queensway Store in London W2. Only one member of staff on duty. Hardly any Personal Interaction. Was more interested in doing something on Computer than bother about ME, THE CUSTOMER. I WALKED OUT OF THE SHOP!!

@VodafoneUK @TheBengwin @vodafone It seems that it is exactly how you want your customers to feel as these are the policies you enact. This is deliberate cruelty and I tell everyone I know never to use your company. This could be fixed but isn't.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This pattern of 'consumer service' has become endemic in UK, even councils will not hesitate handing erroneous CT claims on to debt collectors for agressive pursuit, and clearing up credit scores is almost impossible.
