@erinbiba Name the bank! @GeorgeMonbiot is meeting with the CEO of @VodafoneUK after describing some bullshit they were pulling on his family. And it was about a similar phenomenon: creating monumental hurdles to dissuade rightful customer demands.

@VodafoneUK ordered a phone online and never delivered. Called them and they said they could beat that deal. Never did finished up paying more. Asked for a copy of call recording. And they said the rep didn't want to. How slimmy. 1 month til I kick this bunch into touch

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Disgusting. I've been a customer for nearly 20 years and never had a problem. Experienced very poor customer care myself today and have a handset that is now useless. Vodafone offer no compassion whatsoever.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK You could make a full time career of corporate PR advocacy. Tbh the internet has exacerbated the decline of customer service with automated nonsense and complicated hidden t&c’s. Older people are particularly disadvantaged. Let’s hope for a positive outcome.
