Lisa Morton (@lisa_r_morton) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@VodafoneUK Thank you. Unfortunately the contract is more than 14 days old and the vulnerable person needs someone else to be able to see that details of the account and help sorted it out. Leaving them to deal with Vodafone sales staff is what has caused this problem

Julia 🇪🇺🏴🇩🇪 (@Scotkraut) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@VodafoneUK Thanks Ryan, as a Vodafone customer I am aware of that great offer, but I was wondering if there was something that could be offered to potential non Vodafone customers and/or non data customers. (We’re talking about senior citizens who might only have a basic mobile phone)
-
Laura Rubio (@LalaRubes) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@VodafoneUK I now can’t make phone calls OR use my data. Trying to speak to your complaints team is impossible. 5 days later and still no resolution or confidence that it will be fixed soon. Your network checker still shows everything being ‘good’. Come on Vodafone, sort it out!

James Rice (@jamesricedesign) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland3 hour wait to try and upgrade with @VodafoneUK or just move carriers to a cheaper deal 🤔 I assume the last stage of the customer journey is just called ‘****’em’ #customersupport #cx #servicedesign

Joe Brock (@josephbrock) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@VodafoneUK Hello. I wasn’t asking if there was a way to cancel over social media. Either via the online portal or a letter I can write? I do not want to go through the retentions process as it’s soul-destroying. I have replaced the mobile broadband with 1Gbps fibre so it is superfluous.
-
David Sinclair (@Brickinoz2002) reported from Mid Calder, Scotland@VodafoneUK really getting annoyed with Vodafone’s inability to do a phone upgrade they are now saying they haven’t received our old phone when it was handed in to their store as they never sent out the pack for it I think I might need to move our whole family to EE at this rate
-

-
G (@ginandtoxicuk) reported from Dunfermline, ScotlandAh help look at DMs @VodafoneUK @Vodacom @VodafoneGroup my iPad order ia missing
-
Cloud Dance Festival (@clouddancefest) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@VodafoneUK No, mansplaining is always offensive, and Voda’s two-stage authentication is sufficient so this level of id proof is beyond reasonable. Then again, so is charging customers and not providing a signal ever 🤣
-
Tim Kerby (@tkerby) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@VodafoneUK just a note to say your data speed at Edinburgh Airport was down to 0.5Mbps all day yesterday with full 4G signal. Not just my phone either. May need investigating as it’s normally great

Lisa Morton (@lisa_r_morton) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@VodafoneUK That won't help unfortunately as he will need an advocate present to make sure he doesn't get taken advantage of. From experience That is what the Vodafone team will do if they are not supervised by an advocate. This is the second time the shop in Bishop's Stortford has done this
-
Aldo (@AGDun_162) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@AnneMcLaughlin @VodafoneUK They will try anything to try and retain him .. by upselling. However he will never get any better deal than a brand new customer. He has every right to cancel out of contract and must say ,no offers period!.
Vodafone Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Rob Smith (@robsmithrugby) reportedWhat a bunch of profit chasing thugs @VodafoneUK are. I get a regular monthly bill of £17 however just being a day late for payment ( only ever one reminder) I get a £5 penalty. That’s £5 a nearly 33% fine. Catch phrase should be “got you, give me your money, stuff the service”
-
charlie stone (@charlie81389135) reported@VodafoneUK hi, can you help, been getting texts from Vodafone about an order I did not place and dont want to click on link, can you please help?
-

Kuldeep Wadhwa (@ammaskuldeep) reported@VodafoneUK How difficult is it for you to fix my broadband issue? It’s on since October 2025 and you’re charging extra every month. #badCustomerService #disappointed

Paul Jones - Performer/Shooter, Web sites🔞 (@pauljonesAIR) reported@VodafoneUK OK, so, a complaint Phone, with bank cards, lost. No problem, get a new one. I went to the vodafone shop, with my passport and my bank statement. They can't help. They can only order a sim for a lost phone if I have my bank cards. The ones in the phone. That will take a week to replace. They told me to phone customer services. CS were surprised the shop could not help, so put me through security. Which I failed. I even have a 4 digit code? Never used it. My last bill? No idea, because it's a text on my phone. Look at my bank statement? Fair plan, but my LOST PHONE is my 2FA device, so before showing me my statement, my bank will send a text to my phone, the one I don't have any more... They said I failed security and the only option would be a security reset. They'd send me an email. You know what the security reset asks for? a PHOTO of my passport and a PHOTO of my bank statement. You know what is LESS SECURE than a person standing in front of you, with their physical passport and bank statement? A photo of those documents attached to a form. It's almost as though you have not paid attention to what AI image generation can do these days. If you ever need to get a DBS check, they require you turn up, in person , and present physical documents. Not photos. SUGGESTION : If a customer comes to a shop with their passport and bank statement, THAT IS SECURE ID and the shop should be able to order a sim replacement.
