Being a good dad, I have been paying my daughter’s phone bill and @VodafoneUK have been happy to take my money. When we finally got them to cancel the account and admit they had taken 2x extra payments. The refund was supposed to be in account in 48hours. A month later nothing!

Just been told by @VodafoneUK that it is too expensive for that massive company to send a router next day despite Jade needing internet to complete uni work before they can get us a router. Fantastically bad service from them yet again

  • planetf1 Nigel Jones (@planetf1) reported from Portsmouth, England

Gosh mobile reception use pretty poor in @GunwharfQuays on @VodafoneUK . 4g i Adobe areas bit less than 1Mbps. Inside mostly 3g boy data. Some areas edge or 9 signal. Not good enough for 2020. @threeuk noticeably better but still not amazing

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BarrieDarke Barrie Darke (@BarrieDarke) reported

@dchughes62 @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Worked for me when I had a (fairly minor, admittedly) problem with PayPal. Someone got in touch within 20 minutes and the issue was sorted within half an hour. And I don't have many followers.

  • LMEVegetarian Veggie Lou 💙💛 (@LMEVegetarian) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Same here except the husband remaining, who had dementia,a pay as you go sim,& for who I had POA, was additionally sold a contract over the phone. Was incredibly difficult to resolve even though I was POA - they wanted to question him. We ended up with 2 contracts to try & cancel

  • mellowmark Mark (@mellowmark) reported

@ZoeJardiniere @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Every mobile provider in the UK seems to be awful. Had a 50% off deal with Lebara but payment didn't go through one month due to a bank error not mine, so they cancelled it. Ordered an Asda mobile sim with £10 credit - it arrived after a month and with no credit (still not sorted

  • sandyann1964 Sandyann1964 (@sandyann1964) reported

@JaneyGodley @VodafoneUK Used to work for them 2001-then they decided only those spending over £40/month deserved decent customer service and our call centre was closed down. We were trained in how to deal with this. I guess they don’t bother any more.

  • LoftusSteve BritCard (@LoftusSteve) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It is, of course, their strategy. If they made it easy for people to cancel their contract "because my wife died" they would have 50k a day. They could of course improve their procedure. Make it easy with an original death cert, but the handling costs money. The corporate way.

  • khollis100_kay kay (@khollis100_kay) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is terrible - life is difficult enough when someone passes but having a power of attorney etc should have made it easier!

  • mad_planets Mad planet (@mad_planets) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They are all appalling these days . The best way of dealing with them is via signed for mail, giving them 28 days to close your account. Did this with Virgin. They still rang me everyday trying to make me cancel. Bloody nightmare company.Glad you got it sorted.

  • lerrup Русский корабль, иди наxуй (@lerrup) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot I'm sorry to hear that @VodafoneUK are still the same organisation they ever were. Doesn't surprise me at all, the worst company I've had to deal with as a consumer

  • zelle_baggaley Zelle Bee (@zelle_baggaley) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot You've been ripped to shreds for this response - let me tell you how to do better. You DM him, ask for his phone number, then -you- call him and act as point of contact until resolved. The path to effective resolution has to be easy or it makes your company look disingenuous.

  • shonali64494111 shona lindsay (@shonali64494111) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Terrible customer service! Would never go with voda phone again. Near impossible to cancel contracts, even after they have ended.
