  • shubhanga59 Shubhanga Prasad (@shubhanga59) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia : honestly I am baffled by your customer experience! Had ordered a broadband connection and had to collect from a store nearby. 1. Address not given. No email, no text and not even available on the logged in section online.

  • shubhanga59 Shubhanga Prasad (@shubhanga59) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia 4. The store owner has better customer experience wisdom and allows me to take the package (after seeing my ID), but keeps the barcode on the package and asks me to text me the code when I receive it.

  • Willhide Will Hide (@Willhide) reported from Camden Town, England

@GillianRhys @virginmedia Ha - would never go back to them. We found them totally unreliable and their customer service was beyond a joke. (But thanks. And see you tomorrow!)

  • Kev_McLoughlin Kevin McLoughlin (@Kev_McLoughlin) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia I did, I moved, Virgin cable is at front door but 2nd floor flat deemed insurmountable problem by engineers.jow I’m going from 140Mb @virginmedia to 3Mb BT. Disappointed to say the least.

  • madeamazing_ MadeAmazing (@madeamazing_) reported from Bromley, England

Nice to know @virginmedia are absolute animals towards old people. Not a care in the world. Just cutting off their phone line without considering the consequences & impact it could have on two elderly people. Sickening behaviour. My poor granny is so distressed.

  • shubhanga59 Shubhanga Prasad (@shubhanga59) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia 3. I now embark on a painful 55 min call with your customer service folks on phone, with no one able to trace what this 7 digit code is or why is it not mailed to me beforehand.

  • GeirGulbrandsen 積ん読 (@GeirGulbrandsen) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia Just to let you know, as most evenings streaming video (even low-res) is really bad again. I know the product description is "up to...", but as you linked the other day you ha "minimum guaranteed bandwidth" that should be more than enough to watch a little bit of video. Very sad

  • edward_baran Edward Baran (@edward_baran) reported from Kensington, England

@virginmedia @sirlordio No you get so many negative comments because your customer service and actual service is appalling. Am now told we will have to wait over 5 days for broadband and tv to be restored in sw5 9

  • Richardjmoses Richard Moses (@Richardjmoses) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia Thanks. I don’t mean I set of guidelines. I mean an internal process flow for how complaint unsealed managed. For example I have raised a complaint. I call up, get to you offshore team, and they cannot see my complaint or put me through to anyone

  • niallthorpe08 Niall Thorpe (@niallthorpe08) reported from London, England

So we’ve waited 4 weeks for @virginmedia to install our TV and WiFi, telling us it’s been in the flat before, they get here finally and say it’s never been in the flat and we can’t have it! So they’ve left and we’re back to square one....

  • lorihaleyfox Lori Haley Fox (@lorihaleyfox) reported from London, England

@virginmedia Thanks JJ - another customer service rep contacted me and the problem has been resolved. Unfortunately the first adviser was misinformed! Thank you!

  • Ian1603 Ian1558 (@Ian1603) reported

@virginmedia 5th Engineer to come. No further forward after 4 visits. Issue I think is a) poor equipment b) Too many people in "area" now working from home so network cannot cope.

  • eNVeeArcadia 10/7 is Vee Day (@eNVeeArcadia) reported

@virginmedia in your TOS it specifies any changes made to contracts need to be done 30 days in advance. You send out the email about the automatic contract change on exactly the 30th day, meaning it has to be contested immediately or else the customer gets unfairly hit with an extra charge.

  • MikeYau8 Mike Yau (@MikeYau8) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@virginmedia And it has just cut out again and your bot via the number above just said restart the router and put the phone down on me. Slightly concerned that it lasted 5 days again and decided to come back to disconnecting?

  • LiumJones Lium Jones (@LiumJones) reported

@virginmedia Due to need of going into a floorboard attic engineer not allowed to phoning to cancel the Installation fee as unable to to CS cancelling my entire package to then give me another which wasn’t as good for £5 cheaper but would let me have the original package due to no 2nd box

  • mikey_rosie Michael Rose (@mikey_rosie) reported

@virginmedia hi. I have a Virgin Media contract. Recently I tried to connect to the London Underground WiFi but every time the WiFi signal was lost (in tunnels), I had to register every time the tube train arrived at a station. How can I register where it will connect every time?
