@BrunoNiko858 @AlphaSeeker21 Do you want to be right? Or do you want to make money? Basing fees in the L1 is a fundamental flaw, even @VitalikButerin recognizes this, or Eth 2.0 would never have been proposed. Being first, is not always best, just ask netscape, and altavista, and AOL, myspace, etc.

  • ladysplainer load-bearing bobble-head (@ladysplainer) reported

@Annaleen Leaning towards we never actually did. Prior to apps, we had social media websites that appealed to certain demographics, prior to that, we had AOL, Prodigy, etc, and prior to that, niche BBS/Usenet/forums...

@YahooNews is total BS!! Someone tell me how to get it off my AOL news feed. When the dots for drop down menu shows up I have clicked to remove..but now there is no drop down. They are as bad as Fox and the current version of The Hill.

  • BowTiedBlueFin BowTiedBlueFin.eth (@BowTiedBlueFin) reported

@BowTiedRam @bowtiedalpaca I had this older woman at my office a few years ago still paying for an AOL subscription after 20 years. When I dug in, they said the fee was for “account security”. **** was like $20/month for 20 years
