Phone line is completely dead. Nada. No broadband/internet - obviously. Fault is at the exchange, apparently. And BT can't fix it until ******* WEDNESDAY!! And for this 5 star service they have just hiked my bill considerably. @bt_uk FAIL!!!!!!!

@bt_uk So it’s been 7weeks since this major winds storm we lost our full fibre cable, we’ve made countless calls with BT and still no fix of the issue it’s a joke. We keep on getting told the problem has been fixed and it hasn’t we keep getting told dates and it never happens.

@claire_horwell @bt_uk Most people won't use one, but there's still enough people who don't have adequate internet / smart phone skills or access and would rely on this. There are also still enough landlines that don't rely on internet access that this would be useful in an internet outage.
