BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • battleoftheswam 🇺🇦 (@battleoftheswam) reported

@bt_uk Who said an issue, this is because of the speeds you offer in my area, dreadful speeds

  • crumblex Crumble 🏃‍♂️🚴 (@crumblex) reported

@bt_uk Let down by Bt again they told me the specialist team would phone me this afternoon. Any idea what’s going on

  • Burnside_5 Burnside (@Burnside_5) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk Each time I renew my BT Broadband, the price goes up but the guaranteed minimum speed goes down, dropped by 30% in 4 years, whilst the price to me has increased by 15%, and that’s with negotiating a discount.

  • ringcardi aubrey 🇺🇦 (@ringcardi) reported

@notagueroprop @bt_uk my nan had BT and she could barely ever use her laptop cause the internet was always slow or down

  • Julford57 Julian Ford (@Julford57) reported

@PhilipRadbourne @paullewismoney @bt_uk Customer service standards can vary a lot. I must admit I do have some sympathy with the customer services staff over this as their hands are tied and they cannot offer what the customer wants.

  • grannyash510 Sarah Mac (@grannyash510) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk That's a disaster. As a former primary school admin, we had to call parents often during power cuts. Latterly by plugging in an old phone. How do kids get sent home now when there's no heating or food ? No power, no communications, no emergency help. Won't just be schools either.

  • ianrohdebell Ian Rohde-Bell (@ianrohdebell) reported

@bt_uk Yes, that confirms that you now supply a phone service that doesn't work in a power cut. What can be done to rectify this?

  • LeckyRichard Richard Lecky-Thompson (@LeckyRichard) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk BT are planning to beach the OFCOM guidelines that they signed up to by not providing adequate backup in case of power cuts. 1 hour backup is not enough of you don't have mobile signal in your house. It is unclear if elderly alarm systems will work.

  • ringcardi aubrey 🇺🇦 (@ringcardi) reported

@notagueroprop @bt_uk that's awful, move to sky broadband

  • radiohead46 radio ga ga (@radiohead46) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk BT have a duty of care, to ensure anyone with emergency access needs can always get through to their support. Elderly for example with life line devices, that don't have broadband or a mobile phone need support 24/7 from BT
