@bt_uk why are the services not working in SW16 landline and broadband?

  • Gavin_WHA Gavin W H Anderson (@Gavin_WHA) reported

@bt_uk I did but was amazed I got charged to fix BT’s problem. Also I think people should know you guarantee is only to the house not throughout as its measured to the router. So in order to fix my own Wi-fi BT charged me £130 to move a box to fix the initial BT bad installation.

  • dannyrimmerr Daniel Rimmer (@dannyrimmerr) reported

@bt_uk Hi Rita, waiting for an engineer to install broadband. Believe the wait should be on average 2 - 3 weeks, but this is 24 days and counting. Now been told an engineer won't be available tomorrow either. Seems a little bit outrageous for a new customer, right?

  • Gavin_WHA Gavin W H Anderson (@Gavin_WHA) reported

@bt_uk The issue was the router was installed in a solid brick and concrete room so the signal could not get to the rest of the house. BT selected where it went, I then after 2 disks and 4 visits. I worked the only option was to move it. So I had to pay to solve a BT issue

  • diddy_DMG Diddy (@diddy_DMG) reported

@ClaphamSue @bt_uk Especially if they dont do emergency repairs for people in this situation. The thought that she could have fallen upstairs and not been able to use the alarm is terrifying..!

  • carole_kupper Carole (@carole_kupper) reported

@bt_uk It has 2 slots and I think it is the main one, the WiFi has always been located there and there's no issue
