Spent the best part of 2hrs on the phone today trying to get @bt_uk to reconnect my Dad’s broadband after they mistakenly disconnected him. I spoke to 5 different people, was cut off twice & the upshot, they cannot get him back online for a week. Poor, so poor 😡

@bt_uk can anyone at your company help out with a internet connection? The switch on date is meant to be today, yet after wasting an hour and half of my life on hold, I’m told sorry we’ve put the wrong date in the system and can’t do anything to change it

@bt_uk HELP. I have two cut off elderly parents who live alone. We are very worried and it feels like no-one at BT is able to help at all. Order placed in July 'accidentally' disconnected in August and now have neither phone or data. This is no way to treat people! Terrible

@bt_uk Now our community Facebook group has more people phoning into BT to report the outage - including some elderly that rely on it for community alarms (in case they fall). Shocking that this hasn’t been recognised as a wider issue yet

@bt_uk The service is an absolute mess. Didn’t refund my months bill due to no internet for 7 days. Went to upgrade to full fibre can even send the new hub out in time for the engineers to install.
