  • Keithduncan47 Keith Duncan (@Keithduncan47) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@bt_uk Thanks Lesley. Unfortunately the issue has been going on for over 10 years now. It’s quite frankly gone beyond a joke. To add insult to injury a new school is being built in front of me and has already have fibre installed as have all the flats around us.

  • ambermhammond Amber Hammond (@ambermhammond) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Bored of being fobbed off @bt_uk @OpenreachHelp No WiFi since December 18th, consistently promised fix dates and still no resolve. Escalated again today, no one will contact us till next week - promed today it would be fixed. If you're in Edinburgh just go with @virginmedia 😩

  • CxDaryn Daryn Mason (@CxDaryn) reported from Powmill, Scotland

@bt_uk Hello. I need urgent help. My elderly housebound mother’s phone and internet is down and it’s critical for her. It also connects her community alarm in case she has a medical emergency.

  • Andymitch79 Andy Mitchelmore (@Andymitch79) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@bt_uk That is the problem! Where do I find my landline number?

  • brian6211 Brian Thomas (@brian6211) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@bt_uk No the issue wasn’t resolved. I answered the call within a few seconds but they hung up right away and made no attempt to call again. If you have an hour or so, read the notes. Utterly appalling. I am expecting 2 callbacks today but not holding my breath. @ThomasDuecke @Ofcom

  • brian6211 Brian Thomas (@brian6211) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ThomasDuecke just thought you should know that I’m experiencing appalling customer service from @bt_uk and despite almost 10 hours complaining, am still no further forward. Can you please help as I’m at my wits end?

  • britishbulldawg British Bulldawg (@britishbulldawg) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@btsport I get that when @CollegeGameDay brakes to show footage from the Masters it’s an issue because of rights but to just start the programme again after an hour is ridiculous. Doesn’t really justify the recent price rises 😤

  • MikeyInglis Mikey Inglis (@MikeyInglis) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@btsport why do you cut out all promotion content, even for @WWENetwork, with your annoying logo and music. No need for it and disturbs the flow of the programme.

  • LAYC2015 LAYC (@LAYC2015) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@bt_uk please help small charity who has no telephone landline and don’t understand why there’s a fault? On hold to very expensive customer service line!

  • SalonEvi1 Salon Evi (@SalonEvi1) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@bt_uk Thank you, that would be great. It has been one week and still not fix it yet. Very disappointed

  • K_J_Donnelly Kathryn Donnelly (@K_J_Donnelly) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@bt_uk this is day 5 of no broadband in #EH4 #Edinburgh. Please can someone fix it soon

  • K_J_Donnelly Kathryn Donnelly (@K_J_Donnelly) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Absolutely ridiculous @bt_uk that you expect customers to accept not having broadband for 8 days whilst @scotgov ask us to #WFH without any complaint. #EH4 #Stockbridge

  • K_J_Donnelly Kathryn Donnelly (@K_J_Donnelly) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@bt_uk Yes. Internet has gone off. Please fix.

  • FrancesSincla12 Frances Sinclair (@FrancesSincla12) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@bt_uk Our BT Broadband went down on Wednesday morning after the storm. Told no engineer to fix until 1st September! BT that’s appalling. After decades with BT we will be changing supplier!

  • gillamain Gill Main (@gillamain) reported from Glenrothes, Scotland

@bt_uk your network bot says I need an engineer but no one calls me back and I can’t get through to book one. Help! I need my broadband sorted ASAP or I can’t work.

  • gillamain Gill Main (@gillamain) reported from Glenrothes, Scotland

@bt_uk my line was hit by lightning I’ve had no broadband for 2 days. Can’t get through been holding for over an hour both days, tried the diagnostic bot but no one calls back. Cmon BT get your service sorted, I need my broadband for work.

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
  • kathylead1 Kathy leadbetter (@kathylead1) reported

@mustbecwaced @bt_uk Time you where getting hold of BT chief executive. @bt_uk absolutely pathetic the customer service you have received. They should be paying you for having to use your mobiles, sorting the problem and apologising for for everything they’ve put you through.

  • noprobsbob Bob Marston (@noprobsbob) reported

@bt_uk The engineer came today, needing access to house. He and I both hope that the problem is fixed, though we’re not sure how. I was merely pointing out the anomalies in the computer-generated conversation.

  • DanielsJet Jeanette Daniels (@DanielsJet) reported

@bt_uk I’ve been waiting all day for a call back and a call comes to my landline rings once and then hangs up! (17 May Complaint ref: VOL013-587562504305 A manager please call before 2pm today) still waiting! My notes say call my mobile!

  • DanielsJet Jeanette Daniels (@DanielsJet) reported

@bt_uk I’m still waiting for a manager to call. This is getting beyond a joke. I want to resolve the complaint and move on.

  • markwilkinson1 Mark Wilkinson (@markwilkinson1) reported

@jamclarkey @TinManVlogger @bt_uk Mobile network coverage doesn’t extend to all parts of Hertfordshire, let alone the UK though - even if you are in a position to afford it.

  • hollynett Holly (@hollynett) reported

@bt_uk Still no Internet… and it’s Wednesday, the day we were told our service would be restored by “at the latest”. When is close of play for your engineers?

  • TinManVlogger TinMan 🏍💨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@TinManVlogger) reported

@jamclarkey @markwilkinson1 @bt_uk So if the end user doesn’t require or want a more expensive fibre service They will be made to move as they will no longer have a phone service ? So if that’s the case would it be considered that they are being forced to a more expensive service just to have a home phone ?

  • fierce0bsession ~Lou~ (@fierce0bsession) reported

WiFi & subscription channels from @bt_uk went down monday morning. Reported it online and got an email about an open case. Since then I've had no contact about what's happening and the date keeps changing when i check. Almost out of data on phone and i need wifi for work things

  • jamclarkey James (@jamclarkey) reported

@TinManVlogger @markwilkinson1 @bt_uk I believe the deployment strategy for Digital phones 1st moving those customers who are on a full fibre service. There's another Openreach programme that introduces copper stop sells when a fibre services becomes over 75% available. Meaning end users will need to move onto fibre

  • PaulDulson2 Paul D (@PaulDulson2) reported

@bt_uk As a shareholder and a customer, I would prefer you to concentrate on your core business ! Jumping on bandwagons is neither big nor clever.
