Paul Greig (@paulgreig6) reported from East Calder, Scotland@bt_uk absolute shambles of a service. Sat on hold for 29mins to then be cut off because your call hours are from 8am-9pm. -
Clemfandango 🏴🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ (@intergeri) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@Bobfryer5 @mitchmi09009371 @bt_uk He scored on the rebound. If he hadn't you'd all be talking about his **** penalty. My word, you idiots are thick.

-
Chris Osborne 🏴 #SNP #indyref2 (@shwadywaddyday) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@bt_uk I would if BT could do the job claimed. My fibre should have been active on the 9th Jan. I was told some BS about the routing route of the cables not as expected. Yet I know the fibre line is all set up and connected to the exchange now. . I've waited 7+ years Di I need to cancel
-
Andrew Kemp (@andrew_kemp) reported from Currie, Scotland@MakeDigitalWork @virginmedia I feel your pain! They provide such a poor service, with poor equipment and poor support. BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
jackbwater (@jackbwater) reported@mizmuggle @bt_uk Now router says "connected" (an improvement) but internet doesn't work 'cos the DNS IP address the router is getting is wrong. Can't even ping the DNS IP 81.139.56.100 No option to set DNS from BT Router! Changing DNS IP locally , to 8.8.8.8/4.4.4.4 and internet works.
-
Sem Essessi (@SemiEssessi) reported@bt_uk learn how to manage an account database. not being able to change the e-mail address back when you changed it in error... thats some high school level computer problem, not a real one in the real world for a megacorp.
-
Changeling64 (@64outsider) reported@bt_uk upgraded my elderly relatives (in their 90s)telephone line & now their telephone isn't ringing properly. How exactly is that 'improving' their service? Ironically their phones are BT ones. Spent a few hours talking to customer services (not a free number 2 contact) #POOR
-
World of Wonder (@brazenchart) reported@bt_uk Ridiculous , 0330 123 4150 rings and then just cuts off. Switching due to being overcharged and slow network but cannot get hold of anyone.
-
Phillip Thompson (@Phillip16484278) reported@bt_uk I’ve been a BT customer for many years. It would appear you value new customers rather than retaining new ones. There’s a monthly difference of £5. Rather lose a customer I would think that you would match the price. Apparently not. Crazy business model.
-
Moyboy (@charlesdor66408) reported@JimSpenceDundee @WeAreOpenreach @bt_uk Fair bit of damage there Jim to soffits and fascia boards also looks like a scaffold job as well. Don't know why you have to chase up estimates?
-
The Real Philip Lyon (@phillyonskem) reportedEvery time I have to contact @bt_uk about our business phones, it says webchat is the best option. And every time, without fail, after a least a half hour webchat they tell me I'll need to ring such and such a number. Absolute joke of a company to deal with.
-
Ian Robson (@GFX2001) reported@bt_uk BT Message Chat is less than useless. Just spent 30 Minutes trying to get the "Free Speed Upgrade" promised when I upgraded to Full Fibre but not received. But the Chat Bot ignores everything you type in and just asks unrelated questions before saying it can't help.
-
(((Ian McKenzie))) 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇫🇷🇺🇦🇮🇱🇬🇪🇬🇱 (@iMcKenzied) reported@bt_uk As a matter of interest, do you know how many @bt_uk customers have been customers for the entire length of the company’s existence? Can’t be many. For the sake of £73 (which the next customer is going to pay anyway), you’ve turned good news into a bad story. Strange.
-
Gavin Curran (@aimdestroyer) reported@bt_uk please upgrade your mobile app. It is shocking. Can’t link to see accounts and payment set ups just buffer - awful
