@EE Nah, Orange was better than T Mobile, but when you merged, the quality and signal went to ****. @O2 is miles better, and so far haven’t hit anyone with roaming charges either!

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE coverage means nothing if signal strength is so abysmal the network becomes unusable

  • scunnyplumbist
    dave mayfield (@scunnyplumbist) reported

@wsmsteve @EE Me too.had BT not a problem.went to EE broadband it’s no where near as good

  • CouncillorLuke
    Councillor Luke Bennett (@CouncillorLuke) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Correct. I had a better reception from my first (Cellnet) mobile in 1995 (in Devon)! Gone are the days of being able to rely on a decent signal! Despite that, ugly / tall mobile phone masts are everywhere (with zero effort to camouflage them or place them 'sensitively').

  • adamgbrown
    Adam Brown (@adamgbrown) reported

@EE Hi, I need help but unfortunately can't DM you. You have dispatched a router which needs to be stopped. Our property is in legal dispute, spent hours on the app trying to resolve this, but you sent it anyway.

  • BeedleB
    Beedle The Bard (@BeedleB) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Just like me where I live, and ike here I bet you have no problem getting a text message through.

  • Fletchmeister81
    Darrell fletcher (@Fletchmeister81) reported

If you live in Rhyl and are thinking of moving to @EE because of there coverage map saying you get 5g+ dont its not even working yet apparently 99% of Rhyl should get it, you only get 4g and its crap

  • TomTugendhat
    Tom Tugendhat (@TomTugendhat) reported

I’m in Dulwich. One of the more expensive areas of London, supposedly a global city, and I’m getting worse mobile phone reception that I did in Kabul a decade ago. I pay for two contracts: @O2 and @EE and neither is reliable so I can’t work. Mobile phones are useless in vast areas of Britain and have got worse. You can never work on a train, unlike in France. But we’re spending £4.5 billion in bike lanes and crossings. This government is prioritising virtue signalling vanity projects when we need infrastructure urgently.

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Yes Tom, but the objective is to maximize profit NOT provide you with a functioning service. Golden rules of Capitalism: 1. Charge the maximum you can get away with. 2. Deliver the least you can get away with.

  • Fr2962Free
    Free Speech Highway (@Fr2962Free) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I agree with Tom on very little! However this is spot on! In parts of inner London EE signals are atrocious and despite checks that the area has a strong signal. They must do better or give customers some form of mobile signal booster.

  • JasonOw55271825
    Ukobach (@JasonOw55271825) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I’m not saying immigration is the problem However it is relatively easy for a mobile cell to be overwhelmed by users - how many HMO’s have sprung up there - it’s a genuine problem and the networks usually address it with micro or pico cells
