I gave up after 45 minutes on hold with @EE so I guess if they charge me for a trade in phone they received on the 18th, it'll become an issue for a lawyer.

@EE I did thanks. Can I suggest you put some kind of info/link on the main website for reporting these kind of things. I looked but in the end just emailed the press office for lack of any other non customer communication.
