@lrgulliver @EE Wonder if they did that to prevent sales during the Apple event until they know ways going to be available. Or they could just be stupid, I’m going with that.

@Independent @EE bit of a shame to leave you but this isn’t a move to invest in UK infrastructure it’s a money grab pure and simple. Really poor decision given you didn’t have to do it.

@EE I’m not upgrading I’m not a new customer, I’m on a sim only. Do I need to leave your network to get free roaming in the EU in 2022

There is no other way to describe @EE decision to reintroduce roaming than a squalid money grabbing exercise. No regulation, laws or extra costs are involved. Exactly what customer service improvements are they planning - pls explain or time for people to exercise consumer choice

@EE so now you are changing our contracts by introducing roaming charges! Can we now take our custom elsewhere without penalty! I for one won’t be upgrading or having you as my service provider!!!!

Sad to see @EE is to reintroduce dreaded EU roaming charges from Jan 22. Whilst not always the cheapest, I've found the service & coverage good, sad to move mob broadband & mob - but £180 for a 3 month stay in Spain on top of £16 odd monthly to use my mobile is not acceptable.

@Chris_Torbitt @EE @ThreeUK We get this “we have to invest in our network” excuse from Virgin Media too; I’d much rather companies were honest.
