@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

As TV signals changed to digital, you either have a @FreeviewTV integrated TV or need to use a freeview box on an older TV. Why does @BBCNews have to interrupt @Wimbledon on the hour? If you want to watch the national news, go to the BBC news channel which has the same content

@tonyplay1066 @ladbible Believe it or not, I pay for Sky Movies, Amazon Prime, Netflix And Disney+ and almost everything I watch is on terrestrial, I should cancel and just get Freeview🤪

@WASoutlooks @JeanneBartram @virginmedia They either think we're idiots or they are. They told me not to cancel the DD until they've spoken to me, then have gone quiet since 12 noon yesterday. Sod that. I've cancelled it and bought a cheaper broadband and a Freeview recorder.

So any atmospheric pressure over 1,005 mBar just lays to waste nearly half of my Freeview channels. Goes from 147 to 96. All BBC, ITV and Channel 4 gone. Pulling the aerial out and returning trick, does not help With the rain last night, did get 107 now back to 96.

  • Canis63
    Old Nick.💙 (@Canis63) reported

Hmm, loads of my freeview channels are nothing but fuzzy static but the HD versions are fine. Anyone else got that problem?

@HisenseAus I have tried calling your Customer service...no answer, tried the callback, no calls. I have a simple question, why is Freeview no longer working on my 49P4? It was working when we bought it, then it disappeared, came back a few months later and now gone again.

    Sheikh Yabouhti (@yabouhti) reported

@GitGrumpygit Simple, CANCEL IT & use Freeview. Any organisation that shafts me that I can do without, gets cancelled and/or switched.

@artbookreviews I was aked to set up a freeview box for a friend. Never seen so many wires, gadgets, remotes. Ended up in a loft (no floor!) making friends with an aerial. I think they have 6 TV's but I lost count...

@SkillageSteve One of my terrible habits is updating the Freeview on hotel tellies. I can’t stop myself.

@TVNZ @ThreeNewZealand are you guys aware of the issue with Freeview in Southland? Pixilation and sound drop out. All Channels all of the time. I have tried to report to Freeview, but after 4 emails and no response back after a week, thought I would see if you have any clout.
