@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

@virginmedia As many people on here that had the same problem I don’t think it’s an issue where service checker says there is a problem and only happened for one event, other times it seems to be ok just yesterday was an issue and had to turn on freeview instead

Tonight's alternative to the Saturday night garbage that is terrestrial tv can be found on Film4 Channel 14 on Freeview. They're going with Mission Impossible at 6.50 and Jason Bourne at 9.00. Two top films you may have seen before but it's always good to watch again. 👍

@HookClassic I can't get the Welsh channels and the football is on there, so I Have to watch the matches on iPlayer, it's such a pain. I was scrapping with Freeview about this. Apparently the mountains are in the way of the antenna so I get Liverpool TV instead. Awful stuff.
