@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

Great Movies Action channel (Freeview 42). “The Apocalypse” A disaster movie that is so apocalyptically bad that it hasn’t got enough budget for cgi of devastation. Just gormless characters watching TV news, or watching the devastation (neither of which is visible to the viewer).

Isn't normal TV/Freeview awful? 30+ channels of total crap, every night. What do people watch?

@HumaxUK FVP_5000T. Cannot go backwards in the EPG anymore. Players screen often doesn't launch properly, fixing me no way into Freeview Play providers. Live TV app doesn't work properly and have been updated in years. Any plans to fix any of this? #humax

@Stuart_NashMP Not only is the customer service rubbish, but the Freeview forums where there are messages about the issue from other people, Freeview seem to not care in the slightest. I am almost about to give up and flag free to air altogether. the news and shows I watch are unwatchable

Warning, stupid question incoming, does a Freeview tele just simply plug into an old skool aerial?? My mum wants a new TV but doesn’t have cable. I’m assuming so? I’ve had cable since the early 90s so haven’t had to faff on with aerials for 30 odd years !!!

  • twtaddict03 sof (@twtaddict03) reported

tasha and andrew are the worst thing on freeview tv #LoveIsland

  • louderyay Logan Ennion (@louderyay) reported

"BBC Four HD will return soon" is not a glowing example of brilliant customer information, Freeview. 99.9% of us are not TV experts and would quite like at least some hint as to what "soon" might mean. For this channel, even I notice the difference between HD and SD.

  • scott_gamer Scott M (@scott_gamer) reported

@Page_888 @russty_russ Interesting. For the period of time between the collapse of ITV Digital and the launch of Freeview, I suppose it made sense for there to be DTT boxes manufactured. I didn't realise that Top-Up TV had anything to do with Freeview, as I thought it was a separate platform/service.
