If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. Stephen Neal (@Stephen_Neal) reported@UHD4k @Bobbinz @SVGEurope Afraid although I work for BBC Studios (which makes shows for the BBC) I have no insight into what iPlayer may support in the future. AAC was chosen for Freeview HD because Dolby had no equivalent receiver-mix audio desc'n support in 2009ish when the platform was standardised.
