Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

Dear Elon Musk, Will starlink help me get good reception for Freeview? I’m fed up of having to access widgets and apps to watch live TV. I just want a regular TVguide so I can make a decision in one place like I used to have with an aerial. Thank you, Michelle Speller

Up early this morning. Long walk to the station on day 67 of my driving ban. Heading to the British Library to research the website. No tv signal at all this morning. We had Freeview for a few days now that has gone. Engineer due on Monday.

@CapelLofft Never underestimate them. A good way to combat it is feing ignorance. You don't have a smartphone, you have no computers. Never been much into that stuff. You just have a plain telly and freeview box. No internet. And you don't have BBC, or a smart meter.

@GBNEWS - "Going subscription would result in those without internet losing access." ❌ INCORRECT - Freeview supports securely encrypted Pay TV. Every Freeview TV has a card slot (CI) on the rear for a viewing card. It was previously used in UK by "TopUp TV", without any problems. (3of4)

@janemerrow On Channel 42 on Freeview. b&w Season of 'The Avengers' starring Emma Peel. Some of these episodes I've never seen before. Reflecting the zany spirit of the mid-60s. A ventriloquist dummy that was a little scary? Perhaps some episodes were filtered out before a re-run?

@yhdistyminen Hi, Roman historian here, uhm actually HBO was only for the Equites class, and Freeview was patchy (at best) in Germania and Hispania. I suggest you read a book and educate yourself. Glad I could help 👍

@irisfurnham @Jenny_1884 There'd still be freeview....==loads of other channels. People only using "Freeview" have to pay the BBC to watch "free" channels even if they never watch BBC, the system is corrupt.

@stevencamlou @juneslater17 Agreed, use youtube, freeview, freely, nowTV, etc. Sounds like they need a reality check and debt counselling. No shame in getting help to maximise what you can have for the least money.

@ofcom If your broadband goes down report it with your mobile. If, like Vodaphone, both go down, use your landline. No. That's on broadband too. Oh well, watch Freeview ... no that's going soon with Freely. Can you see why moving to 100% broadband delivery is not a good idea?
