@BigJetTVLIVE I named 3 airlines on the above. Why say 10mins if you knew it wouldn’t be. You still don’t get the hang of it. Most of the times when I watch the freeview there are so many errors in it it’s unreal. If you didn’t have enough time then that’s bad planning on your side

@donmcgowan You have to admit the BBC model and size is outdated. We have lots of freeview channels that do entertainment now and it could move what it thinks is value to a subscription service while keeping a world news channel at a very minimal cost. Which could then be covered by tax.

@GBNEWS come on guys sort this out. gbnews has pixilating screening interference uk GB News viewers in the UK have reported persistent pixelation and screening interference issues, especially on certain platforms like Virgin Media and Freesat. These problems are not universal across all channels, suggesting they are tied to GB News’s broadcast quality or transmission settings rather than your TV. 📺 What’s Happening Virgin Media users have noted regular pixelation on GB News (channel 604), while other channels remain unaffected. Rebooting the TV360 box doesn’t resolve the issue, and Virgin suggests checking local service status. BT/EE TV users have also reported widespread pixelation across multiple channels, with signal quality fluctuating despite strong signal strength. Upscaling problems: On newer 4K TVs, GB News looks worse compared to older HD sets. This is likely due to poor upscaling of GB News’s relatively low broadcast resolution. Frame rate reduction: Around mid-2024, GB News lowered its broadcast frame rate, leading to “webcam-like” quality on Freesat. Freesat confirmed they changed how the channel is broadcast, but offered no technical details. 🔧 What You Can Try Check service status: Use Virgin Media’s service checker or call their automated line (0800 561 0061) to see if there are local transmission issues. This means the issue is unlikely to be fixed by simple reboots or equipment swaps.
