  • MichaelLeeLewi4 Michael Lee Lewis (@MichaelLeeLewi4) reported from Aberdare, Wales

@kieranjameen Kieran cancel it, my sister did with hers and hasn't missed it, you can buy internet freeview boxes now and you can download all the apps onto them, no monthly payments then, just for what you choose to, much cheaper

  • GeorgeBaldwin14 George Baldwin (@GeorgeBaldwin14) reported from Cardiff, Wales

And has been mentioned before, I and I'm sure many others would never have followed rugby without the Six Nations being free to watch and having it on freeview year after year

  • dave_maydew Dave Maydew MW0DCM (@dave_maydew) reported from Tonyrefail, Wales

@FreeviewAdvice @arqiva More disappointed, but I suppose I've got to accept it, after totally cutting the cord. I do have a tech question though. I'm using the Plex Media Server for Freeview, but the supplied EPG by Gracenote is terrible, is there a XML file of the one you use on the Android app

  • IanCleverly06 Ian Cleverly (@IanCleverly06) reported from Trethomas, Wales

Just an FYI @DMAX_UK but you've just showed Series 3 Ep10 of #Archer, when the Freeview EPG (and your website) has you showing the correct in order Ep 9. It has the same down for the Sat midnight showing (ie Ep 10 is listed in you'll show Ep 9)

  • MeurigRogers Morgan Barber-Rogers #FBPE melt and centrist dad (@MeurigRogers) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@bethanjenkins Project Kangaroo became YouView. It wasn’t shut down because it was a ppv model - it was meant to be like an online Freeview. It was shut down because it was deemed unfair competition for private companies. Who are now all Americans.

@WobbleBoxers I remember this issue with the Freeview recorder on the TV we had to do it on a windows pc and downgrade it to FAT format and then it will work but the hard drive is a better way as long you have a windows computer to downgrade format will let you know.

  • nemo20000 nemo (@nemo20000) reported

@haroldthimbleby Everything fine until I switched to a mono radio station on Freeview, at which point the sound stopped and stayed off until the TV was rebooted. Weird. Rang Sony. “Never heard of that before” they said. “Try using the RCA audio output sockets”. I rewired my cable, it then worked.

  • andy_urz andy (@andy_urz) reported

@RoxxyClark @S66Cams Wish still on freeview but best channel is xpanded no **** about tio goalswhich dobmnt get refundif not met @ASL315970

  • cSunshineduo ava (tina's version) (@cSunshineduo) reported

never properly watched total drama island, i only watched the ******* kids version on freeview and was freaked out when i found out it was an actual series outside of the children's version 😭😭

  • Scoutdwriter Scout Dawson (@Scoutdwriter) reported

@TimHoelscherX They likely mean cable or network TV, which when you think about it, is accurate. I don't watch TV (I don't have Freeview set up, nor do I have Sky, TiVO or Virgin Cable etc) but I do have Netflix/Prime, which are websites/apps.

  • Unpaid_Carer Unpaid_Carer❣ (@Unpaid_Carer) reported

Daughter's TV has switched off this morning! Changed the fuse in the plug thinking may just be that but nothing! Changed the HDMI cable! Nothing! Disconnected her console to show Freeview TV, still nothing! FFS! 🤬🤬 Short term solution - she uses TV in lounge in her bedroom

  • YorkieBkk LeedsYorkie (@YorkieBkk) reported

@ashlucas75 I honestly have never even heard of it before. I think it was in Abu Dhabi the one I saw was just flicking through freeview channels and found it on there (free sports channel No 64) at silly o'clock when I could not sleep. Was def good fun though 👍

  • cake_and_ate_it CAD monkey (@cake_and_ate_it) reported

@Wulf_Helm Probably on one of those channels well down the list on freeview...

  • PoweredByPepsi Ann-Marie Leach (@PoweredByPepsi) reported

@virginmedia My internet was also a poor service too. I really miss your telly though, not gonna lie. Freeview is not the best.

  • slipperboots SlipperBoots (@slipperboots) reported

@cromers It’s been so poor that I’ve watched stuff on DVD & iPlayer as well as replays on freeview channels over the festive period. Not to mention audiobooks and podcasts.
