@bethanjenkins Project Kangaroo became YouView. It wasn’t shut down because it was a ppv model - it was meant to be like an online Freeview. It was shut down because it was deemed unfair competition for private companies. Who are now all Americans.

Just an FYI @DMAX_UK but you've just showed Series 3 Ep10 of #Archer, when the Freeview EPG (and your website) has you showing the correct in order Ep 9. It has the same down for the Sat midnight showing (ie Ep 10 is listed in you'll show Ep 9)

@flickeringflxme I’ve never seen that one myself but somehow my granddad ended up buying it for himself which was made weirder by the fact he only had freeview so didn’t even have Disney Channel. He loved it though

@FreeviewAdvice @arqiva More disappointed, but I suppose I've got to accept it, after totally cutting the cord. I do have a tech question though. I'm using the Plex Media Server for Freeview, but the supplied EPG by Gracenote is terrible, is there a XML file of the one you use on the Android app

@DooHopper Pick will be an interesting case, no hd an awful picture on Freeview, good slot number but not much heft from Sky to push it.

@kieranjameen Kieran cancel it, my sister did with hers and hasn't missed it, you can buy internet freeview boxes now and you can download all the apps onto them, no monthly payments then, just for what you choose to, much cheaper

@ElaineYoung94 They have a children's lottery in Scotland. I know.... good cause , but a bad name. I got a Scottish sky freeview card for 12 Euro from some crowd in Sligo when I cancelled my sky subscription. So I watch Scottish ads on sky.

@marhoomakbar If you don't watch LIVE TV on freeview use bbc iplayer, you don't need to pay licence to BBC. You can watch anything via internet or cable TV (netflix, amazon, apple, sky..)without a licence. Cancel your subscription on tvlicensing and stop funding bbcpersian.

@ukdtt @tvlive @GeoffGilham A lot of people i speak to have got fed up and run out on freeview, problems with reception associated with the costs of installs, and the constant retuning, high gain installs at about £250. Its not very freeview they say. In my town sky is everywhere,

@HumzaYousaf @Stuart_McDonald . watching Freeview every advert features a black or mixed race actor I can see why people get antsy - and poor white people don't have community or identity... But that is different to the bullying of brown people that follows or rejecting that on colonialism need re-educating
