Just an FYI @DMAX_UK but you've just showed Series 3 Ep10 of #Archer, when the Freeview EPG (and your website) has you showing the correct in order Ep 9. It has the same down for the Sat midnight showing (ie Ep 10 is listed in you'll show Ep 9)

  • oitappin Dan Tappin (@oitappin) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@DooHopper Pick will be an interesting case, no hd an awful picture on Freeview, good slot number but not much heft from Sky to push it.

  • MichaelLeeLewi4 Michael Lee Lewis (@MichaelLeeLewi4) reported from Aberdare, Wales

@kieranjameen Kieran cancel it, my sister did with hers and hasn't missed it, you can buy internet freeview boxes now and you can download all the apps onto them, no monthly payments then, just for what you choose to, much cheaper

  • DaveBStDW Dave Bowden (@DaveBStDW) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@bt_uk Hi Aaron, I am in complete disbelief as to how long this takes to resolve. I don’t care who resolves it & not my problem he’s not in. I’m paying full price for freeview! I demand compensation and a quick resolve as this is just embarrassing for @bt_uk

  • uncriticalsimon Simon 🥑🚟🚅😈💉💉💉 (@uncriticalsimon) reported from Newport, Wales

.@Freeview question - how come the PSB muxes aren’t treated equally? The BBC one and the HD one seem to have a much better signal from Wenvoe than the “normal” ITV one. (I can get Mendip off a random bit of metal.)

  • MeurigRogers Morgan Barber-Rogers #FBPE melt and centrist dad (@MeurigRogers) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@bethanjenkins Project Kangaroo became YouView. It wasn’t shut down because it was a ppv model - it was meant to be like an online Freeview. It was shut down because it was deemed unfair competition for private companies. Who are now all Americans.

  • uncriticalsimon Simon 🤖 (@uncriticalsimon) reported from Newport, Wales

Why is the BBC World Service so hard to obtain EXCEPT in the one area which is explicitly not the target audience? In the UK the World Service is available 24/7 on DAB and I think Freeview and Freesat/Sky.

  • dave_maydew Dave Maydew MW0DCM (@dave_maydew) reported from Tonyrefail, Wales

@FreeviewAdvice @arqiva More disappointed, but I suppose I've got to accept it, after totally cutting the cord. I do have a tech question though. I'm using the Plex Media Server for Freeview, but the supplied EPG by Gracenote is terrible, is there a XML file of the one you use on the Android app

  • KAK_Tweets Krys Cross! Cha Cha Real Smooth (@KAK_Tweets) reported from Treorchy, Wales

@flickeringflxme I’ve never seen that one myself but somehow my granddad ended up buying it for himself which was made weirder by the fact he only had freeview so didn’t even have Disney Channel. He loved it though

  • GeorgeBaldwin14 George Baldwin (@GeorgeBaldwin14) reported from Cardiff, Wales

And has been mentioned before, I and I'm sure many others would never have followed rugby without the Six Nations being free to watch and having it on freeview year after year

  • jonnyhern Jonathan (@jonnyhern) reported from Pontypool, Wales

@Thomoli @PhilipsCare_UK I’ve been waiting 8 weeks for same issue not worked for me since I bought my TV. I dont have an aeriel tho just satellite cable connected & internet but no catch up aps work or freeview

    Why is Freeview so ****?

  • johngunn2 johngunn (@johngunn2) reported

@Dawsvader @williamsk67 @BBC Licence is to allow you to recieve broadcasting signal. Fee not only covers BBC TV but also goes towards radio, C4, S4C, freeview, freesat and the continued roll out of broadband in the UK. We’re not the only country who have a form of licence neither.

  • RWilkes1 Ray Wilkes (@RWilkes1) reported

@freeview why is the signal in BD18 from Wrose intermittently bad at the moment ?

  • iReallyDoRage Nate Rager (@iReallyDoRage) reported

I’m was the biggest grime fan that never had Channel U. Cable/ntl/virgin media shegged me. Even freeview had it back then

  • LonelyGoomba LonelyGoomba (@LonelyGoomba) reported

@GeorgeyTheApe @BillyWi26569940 @BBCNews Well you could just not watch live tv. And thus don’t pay. Can pretty much get most Freeview channels on demand via their apps. Throw in a streaming service or two and you got yourself a pretty good TV set up

  • sexy_riker Lukas (@sexy_riker) reported

@OOFTStuart Ugh that stinks. Are you just trying to use Freeview or is it Sky? If its freeview you might have the exact issue we just dealt with today

  • 4Viewers 4Viewers (@4Viewers) reported

@MandyMinime35 Hi Mandy - we're sorry to see the sound and picture on #Channel4 was out of sync for you. Is this issue ongoing? If so, please let us know how you receive your signal (Sky/Freeview/Freesat etc).

  • LindaShotterFam Linda Irving (@LindaShotterFam) reported

@discoveryplusUK I prefered DPlay to be honest. The new website is awful & I'm a bit disappointed that shows that were previously free are now only available with subscription...especially as the shows are broadcast on freeview!

  • ultrazool Jo Walsh (@ultrazool) reported

Wondering how i'd put together a device that sits between a Freeview box and a TV, and refuses to play anything other than the test card signal at certain times of day, as a novelty gift for a nostalgic friend... especially when i don't have a TV

  • MaFt Rhymes With Daft (@MaFt) reported

@stuartleech @MartinSFP Interesting. Can I ask what make/year? This is with a 2016 Toshiba. When I looked online it basically says some devices can require an aerial/signal but it's up to the manufacturer. I can understand it for bringing up the EPG part of Freeview Plus but not the standalone apps.
