@MaddFan1 Same thing happened to me a few years ago, I was quite happy watching @AJEnglish on Freeview and then suddenly it went on to freeview HD, which my box wasn't. My problem was finally solved when they started broadcasting live on Youtube.

  • NEFamilyFun Sam Rickelton | North East Family Fun (@NEFamilyFun) reported from Leeds, England

@Sharon43068108 Very annoying! They are now showing the same match on BBC 1 AND 2. We are in a hotel room son only have Freeview. Going to watch Bridget Jones Diary on itv2 - I have my fingers crossed it's not too rude for the kids 🤣 (from what I remember, I think it's ok)

@GBNEWS My problem is video. Constant pixelation and then feed drops altogether. Makes it unwatchable. Using freeview 236

  • KeithParrycdf Keith Parry (@KeithParrycdf) reported

GB News. A tv station to promote unionism, not my cup of tea. Seen it on Freeview, production quality is crap. Sound not syncrynised with pictures. Sound levels of interviewees all over the place. Sound generally much lower level than BBC1 etc.

  • GaryNunn1955 Gary Nunn (@GaryNunn1955) reported

@GBNEWS Why is you studio picture so poor on Freeview. I know its not HD, but neither is BBC News channel on Freeview and their picture is fine. Really looking forward to watching you, but not with such poor video. Its not my reception as video from your roving reporters is fine.

  • DJMidarezaki DJ Midarezaki, Esq. 🇬🇧🇭🇰➡️ #LivesMatter (@DJMidarezaki) reported

@IvorIdea @cheesedoff3 @GBNEWS The web feed in 1080p looks pretty decent, don't forget that many commercial slots on Freeview are the reduced resolution 544x576 stretched to 16x9 ratio so looks a bit blurry and washed out.

  • Bachcyw Cyw (@Bachcyw) reported

@neddalton90 They are indeed. BUT, if they can sow the seeds of doubt in the minds of some "Covid enthusiasts", that's a good thing. Their presence on the Freeview platform means they have much larger reach than Talk Radio, so you never know.

  • DBauer191 Olivier Pujol (@DBauer191) reported

@Jay_Beecher @GBNEWS @afneil Agreed. The whole production value needs dialling up. The sound issues, syncing and people talking in the background need sorting ASAP. Also watching through Freeview it's non HD, you forget how awful that non HD world was/is!

  • CllrGareth CllrGareth (@CllrGareth) reported

@GBNEWS A few other things… your YouTube doesn’t have a live feed. The IOS app forces horizontal rotation. Freeview is in a pretty poor SD. There’s no smart tv apps. Eg roku/tizen/webos.

  • Fatjon27803327 TheFatjon (@Fatjon27803327) reported

@GBNEWS Give us a fireTV app. The Freeview app doesn't work even if you have the knowhow to sideload it so unless you pay for Sky or watch on a phone you can't easily watch at all. I'm too old to squint at a phone for hours.

  • GordonDow1 Gordon Dow (@GordonDow1) reported

@NickCohen4 I watched @GBNEWS for a couple of minutes but sound quality was very poor plus it’s not in HD on Freeview. Don’t think it’ll last long.
