@HumaxUK only had this fvp-500t since 7th may 20 and its on the blink, freezes, losing recorded programs and Freeview is so slow. Has updates April 2019 but still poor. I would not recommend this at all.

@MaddFan1 Same thing happened to me a few years ago, I was quite happy watching @AJEnglish on Freeview and then suddenly it went on to freeview HD, which my box wasn't. My problem was finally solved when they started broadcasting live on Youtube.

@Sharon43068108 Very annoying! They are now showing the same match on BBC 1 AND 2. We are in a hotel room son only have Freeview. Going to watch Bridget Jones Diary on itv2 - I have my fingers crossed it's not too rude for the kids 🤣 (from what I remember, I think it's ok)

@LynneKerrUK Freeview is a through aerial service and needs an aerial to view. If you wish to use players these can be accessed using the internet. I'm not aware of any Freeview boxes that can take a SIM card but a hotspot may work. Please check manufacturers details for more information.

@sparkyfireman @channel5_tv I don't think they'll be able to for now, since they are at a backup centre. On Sep 26th, there was an incident at the transmission centre for Channel 4 and Channel 5. And that has been showing up for those on Freeview and Virgin.

@a516digital E4+1 is back on Freeview on the west midlands transmitter at least. Though the picture quality is poor even by Freeview standards though on checking +1 is far better than the standard service. +1 is also missing its DOG.

@Blodeuweddmoon I'm truly not a #defundbbc type but one of their arguments is the harassment by TV license officers when told no TV etc. Now people lie, so appreciate they have to ask. But our region has no FREEVIEW signal hasn't since the 11th August so they should take that into account too

PRESWATCH: Red Bee incident update: - E4+1 on Freeview has returned (DOGless). - @a516digital is reporting that E4, More4 and Film4 have returned on Freeview for the Waltham transmitter group (albeit no sound on Film4).
