@talkSPORT @Sjopinion10 That's a bad idea. Sky have rights to other sports too, so a netflix football service would be yet another thing to pay for if you like multiple sports. More football needs to be on freeview channels like BBC and ITV.

  • Dante_Banks Danté Banks (@Dante_Banks) reported from Tottenham, England

@tinytwink The poor shouldn't have anything they have to work for. Big screen TV - nope. Netflix - what's wrong with Freeview? Mobile phone - can't they walk to the phone box on the corner that was disconnected five years ago. They think if you're poor you should suffer or not be poor.

@donmcgowan You have to admit the BBC model and size is outdated. We have lots of freeview channels that do entertainment now and it could move what it thinks is value to a subscription service while keeping a world news channel at a very minimal cost. Which could then be covered by tax.

@EdwardJDavey It belong to the people Make it private Issue shares One per household Each shareholder pays a subscription Shares can be sold or bought back Stop expecting me to pay your bill When I can get Ch4, 5, ITV commercial radio and all of Freeview for free regardless of the BBC

@Scotsman_Rob @SimonBatesUK Thete is no justification for state mandated support for a broadcaster, there's over 100 Freeview channels, how many get the licence fee?

@LordAshcroft @AllisonPearson Ms. Pearson is never afraid to point out when the people of this country are being taken for mugs, as she succintly does in this article. BBC's charter should have ceased when Sky launched, definitely by the time of Freeview's introduction.
