They are my ISP and they recently wrote to say they are putting up prices by way above inflation whilst my service is still worse than with previous ISP. Even so, I don't think I can get Wi-Fi calling with my mobile provider (giffgaff) either ๐ข

Started with One2one in 2005 and thinking of going back to EE now. Giffgaff - tried them years ago, not bad... O2, never a fan of this company, they're too strict... Lycamobile, I like them and still do but I want big name... same goes for Lebara. My proposal: ๐ฃ Unlimited UK mins & Texts I don't care about this, I'm more concerned about data... ๐ฃ 150GB to Unlimited Data ยฃ20/ month max... I need this ASAP...

Greg Sully (@PhattGreg) reported@gingerninja1974 @giffgaff It appears itโs the set up of the phone. Which for a emergency alert seems to be failing! You can only receve it if you enable the function in settings, you can only get it if your using a 4G of 5G signal. Not well thought out plan at all!

Best option I found was to order a Giffgaff SIM (or esim), stick a fiver in it and just top up when required. It usually connects to the AIS network here so calls etc all good. Serves 2 purposes with being able to receive UK SMS also
