***** Acasa (@guidoacasa) reported@SatanicTaxi @giffgaff @EE For the information of others. No extra help to me having a Giffgaff second sim because my main one is O2.
-
Mark 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ (@TheBossnME) reported@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica Virgin Media are 💯 with prompt online support. Always have been. I'm not sure any of the others will reply, at all...
-
Woody Knows (@Woody3704) reported@crip72012 @hewantswealth I had O2 for a long time and it was fine for work and making calls Until I needed an actual good network with consistent uptime and no 300 ping when I'm playing online games. Giffgaff runs smoother. For what I use it for anyway. That 6 quid extra is honestly whatever.
-
Ewan (@ewan_tindale) reported@imedrichards @TMobile @Mintmobile Giffgaff in the UK, not sure if you have an equivalent over there It's sim only monthly rolling contract so you buy your own phone but then can switch/cancel whenever you want
-
CuteKitty 🦋 (@Cute_Kitty92) reportedHey @O2 @giffgaff you say there's no issues and that you're keeping an eye on an issue you fixed well me and my friend are still having issues with mobile data and texts, we've restarted our phones, we've tried to all other methods and nothing has worked.

TheDePINCat 🐈🌐 (@TheDePINCat) reported.@giffgaff have generally been good (10 years+ a subscriber). For the past few days, I have been unable to send texts from my UK number. I had to go onto a forum to diagnose what I thought was a device problem. Reset my network settings (no help). And then back top the forum to find a coverage map. Ideally, giffgaff would send alerts to impacted areas so we are aware with this information. And, with connectivity being fundamental to everything we do in the digital world, communication should be treated as high priority as a burst water pipe or gas leak. This is why community-owned networks are so crucial. There is an extra level of care and concern when the issue directly impacts you.
-
netmonkey (@WingedNetMonkey) reported@MoistKritikal51 @TheNorfolkLion I managed to get a 256gb pixel 10a from giffgaff for £400 + £10 rolling monthly contract which I will cancel. Sold out at the minute. Not sure when they will be getting them back in stock but may be worth keeping a check on their site if you live in the UK.

Jax (@CarnorJax87) reportedAnyone on Giffgaff... Is your service down?

Mark 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ (@TheBossnME) reported@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica gifgaff, who are part of O2, who now work with Virgin Media. All part of Telefonica (and Liberty Global). A FOI request detailing how network coverage map data is recorded, updated, and published would be interesting to see. It seems to be very different from reality.
