@foamcow @benlumley Well its O2’s radio network but the image compression would be in the Mobile Data core and IIRC GiffGaff doesn’t share that with O2 they have their own

@TeeNoodles @BlokeOnWheels Sky, Giffgaff, Lyca and a bunch of others don't have their own network, they essentially rent from people like O2, EE etc. Far as I know only 3, O2, Voda and EE have a network. So I presume tenants have to charge if "landlord" does? Or can they set roaming pricing independently?

@giffgaff my phone is saying i have no service when i’m in range of getting service, i’ve tried taking my sim out, restating my phone and even resetting network settings and it’s not solving the issue

Hi @giffgaff I’m off to @VodafoneUK tomorrow because you changed the rules on roaming and capped my data after I’d left for summer hols. And then refused to help. Just important for firms to know why customers move their business. Also getting a better deal.
