@foamcow @benlumley Well its O2’s radio network but the image compression would be in the Mobile Data core and IIRC GiffGaff doesn’t share that with O2 they have their own

This, after the @giffgaff Twitter team were quite insistent on doing a SIM swap. Because apparently, the fact that my current SIM works fine when connecting to a different mast means nothing to them. Top tip: NEVER take tech advice from Giff Gaff!
