There was damage to other services and the paths are worse now than they ever was and for what ? We had plenty of choice off the open reach network ...

We were the first house in East Hull to get fibre, and Openreach laid the cable from the exchange*. But the average punter has no option but KCOM for their service, unless they go for one of the wireless providers.

According to UK broadband outlet ISPreview, homes with access to an affordable Starlink plan may no longer be eligible for a USO broadband connection through BT or KCOM.
