    @LloydsBank we need a piece of plastic with an #electronicchip and a #pinnumber to be absolutely certain you are who you say you are my old friend! How more secure a transaction could be with a customer there in person with their passport in their own branch fails me.

    @LloydsBank oh you don’t have a debit card on that account, no problem use the one on your other account. Oh you don’t have it. No I am sorry the fact I know who you are and you have your passport does not help me. We cannot make a payment from your account.

    @LloydsBank Just said could not do it after trying. No problem with ID. As one of payments was for a holiday which now is in doubt it’s a big pain. Can’t understand why Lloyds don’t ring before blocking payments.

    @PhyllBuc @LloydsBank I called to close the bank account and they referred me to the website to download the PDF form as both signatories need to sign. I said it didn't work and they said I should troubleshoot as it could be my browser or device...seems very bizarre. Or intentional....

    @LloydsBank PS: Think that Lost Cards fits much better under Account Services (alongside Replacement Cards) rather than under Help - you don't expect to find actual functionality in the Help section
