@LloydsBank The first time I tried using my card in a store and it got declined. The second time I tried when ordering a takeaway. It said this card doesn't support this type of purchase. It was not until I logged on website version did I notice the £Nil despite the actual showing otherwise

@LloydsBank what is the best contact number to speak to someone about logging into the app. Tried resetting the details on the lloyds website but a message has asked to contact you before anything can be reset. Tried ringing but on hold for ages then cut off. Very frustrating.

Thursday. Britain. Recap. @LloydsBank showed everyone’s account to everyone this morning. Helen from Halifax briefly had a million pounds. It was taken back. We are furious on Helen’s behalf. @RoyalMail estimate they will deliver 219 million letters late this year. This is not a crisis. This is a forecast. They have planned to be late. They have scheduled the incompetence. MPs spent the afternoon debating government support for British carnivals in Westminster. Your taxes. Working hard. @Keir_Starmer flew to Cork, held a summit, attended a cultural reception and did not have a Guinness. Some men should not be allowed into Ireland. That’s your Thursday. We’ll see you tomorrow. 📰

@andy_uk44 @LloydsBank Don’t forget to use the current account switching service and bag yourself a few quid from the next bank’s introductory offers - may as well get something out of this deal

LLOYDS APP SHAMBLES @LloydsBank managed to turn online banking into a raffle where nearly half a million customers got a peek at someone else’s finances. Open the app to check your balance, leave with a stranger’s transactions, account details and national insurance number. Just the sort of premium service that really says trusted high street institution. The bank says an overnight software defect caused the chaos, which is a way of admitting someone fiddled with the wiring and half the country briefly thought their money had gone on a car they never bought. Customers were left panicked, confused and wondering whether they’d been hacked. Lloyds responded with goodwill payments averaging about £38 each, which apparently is now the going rate for accidental identity.. This is the magic of modern banking. Total convenience right up until your app starts freelancing as someone else’s wallet. The regulators are now circling, the bank is very sorry, and the rest of us are once again being asked to trust the same people who cannot update software without turning basic banking into a national farce. What’s happening with @LloydsBank ? Yesterday I saw someone else’s account transactions on my online banking. Is the glitch resolved? Also, a number of online services on the app are showing an error message, and they cannot be used.

  • cllrraygardner
    Cllr Ray Gardner (@cllrraygardner) reported

@LloydsBank This is now the fourth number I’ve tried and I’m still getting nowhere. I’ve had my wallet stolen abroad and need to cancel my business card urgently, but every route leads to a closed department. Please provide a working 24/7 number or confirm I’m protected.

@LloydsBank No, Neha, you *cannot* still pay in cheques at Post Office branches; that service was withdrawn at the end of last year.
