Not a great experience

Their “legal system” allows them to scam a person with a banana stand in a slum. It’s more moral that a country allow NatWest for a working-class person to inflate their lifestyle.

Your £23bn figure was a 2018 OBR snapshot, not a live invoice. We’ve fully exited every single intervention — final NatWest shares sold May 2025. No ring-fenced ‘bailout debt’ still sitting there waiting for your PAYE. Debt is aggregate. Interest is paid on the total stock. Treating it like a personal loan you’re still ‘funding’ is pure fantasy accounting. And spare us the ‘hitting the vulnerable while ignoring tax dodgers’ sermon. Legal tax avoidance isn’t theft, and the alternative to those bailouts was depositors queuing outside branches and the entire system melting down. You’d have been first in the queue complaining about that too. Next.

He said **** right off I’m not paying that, so didn’t and didn’t pay a £47,362.00 Bounce Back Loan either, and has just been given a 5 Year Director ban instead. So the Government never got the £30,000 and would have had to pay back NatWest the £47,362.00 for Bounce Back Loan too. Lovely….

Here's what I learned: Bad product flows can cost thousands, or even millions, in lost revenue. Regardless of company size. What kills conversions in big-name products does the same for startups: - Onboarding that loses people in the first 60 secs - Pricing pages that confuse instead of convert - Sign-up flows that cause decision fatigue I’ve seen that when you fix these - you get more from the traffic you already have. Now I build those same systems for funded startups - so they keep the users they've already paid to get.

The banking misconduct detailed in the Bank Confidential reports primarily occurred in the buildup to, during, and after the global financial crisis, broadly spanning from 2000 to 2017 (with certain related over-charging practices and legal disputes continuing to this day). The primary Banks named are - NatWest Group (formerly Royal Bank of Scotland Group) RBS-Global Restructuring Group (GRG) NatWest Ulster Bank Lloyds Banking Group (including HBOS) Barclays HSBC Coutts (a private banking subsidiary of NatWest Group) “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”.
