Always check your bank statements. Mad the way someone’s set up a PayPal direct debit weekly from my bank account for £134 and PayPal are saying it’s a natwest issue and natwest are saying it’s a PayPal issue.

@pizzahutuk I had to cancel an order and get a refund. The only way to get a refund is via your customer support contact form. Which is broken. The check boxes don't register they have been ticked. Got to phone NatWest to get a refund. No phone number, no direct email. Do better

Also, **** Natwest. When asked can they help track down where the payments been sent. They’ve said because she’s give him her bank details she isn’t eligible for a refund. ******* rats mate. Snapping my card up as I speak

  • davebutter

Why are credit scores so differing on each site? My clear score looks like I could get a Range Rover and a mortgage. The one on my natwest looks like I’d struggle to get a studio catalog account

@stephenpollard Tesco/NatWest comparison assumes all businesses are the same. But Rail is a natural monopoly and already depends heavily on the state. It's a question of public service versus commercial service. Rails different as passengers can't switch provider in any meaningful sense.

@Lifeofdavie_ Most banks are shutting down due to 90% automation of processes. I have an account with NatWest, the branch in my town has only 2 staff: One teller/customer advisor and Branch Manager/Lead. Machine to deposit coins, cash in, pin resets, cheques scanners, digitised processes!

Anyone had a problem with opening a NatWest business account? I've been waiting a month!! No one answers the phone, I've been waiting for 40minutes this morning, no one answered. Online you get Bots. Fed up!

@Simsie1488960 1/ 2 Hey Alicia We can re-instate a direct debit if it: Was cancelled in error by the bank, or Is payable to a NatWest product e.g. a mortgage The direct debit also must have been cancelled in the last 60 days. If the above applies to you, please visit us in branch or get in

@AaronBastani My Samsung S23 Ultra is insured through NatWest. I had a cracked screen, broken charging port & damaged frame. Paid £50 & got all three problems fixed plus new battery, all data restored. Took a man in a van at my house about an hr. Don't see the need for these EU restrictions.

How tf can #Natwest reject my driving licence for being too blurry when their website automatically takes the picture for you once the card is in focus & in the correct position. Just waited an hour to be verified to be told no because they chose to apparently take a blurry pic.

@AlvinMutyaba @augusteprompt Every bank lets you on and off ramp but for on ramp it’s limited as I say above. Some banks may be friendlier than others and allow slightly higher limits or open a discussion with you based on your personal circumstances (for example, Barclays will, NatWest won’t). I was able to off ramp with no limits and use the proceeds to buy my house, after strict due diligence around source of funds of course. Hence I no longer own or trade any crypto in this difficult market and with this unfriendly regime personally. Regarding leverage trading, I’m not sure. I imagine you could use Hyperliquid with a VPN, not sure if that will become impossible when the new restrictions land. Personally I’ve never traded leverage, that’s too much of a casino for me. I only ever traded spot. And obviously there’s lots of avenues for that. Hence I think it’s an exaggeration to say it’s dead here, but it will certainly become hard to justify once CGT is upped (circling back to my original point).

@MartinRemains @Steven_Swinford Yeah, but if the self-proclaimed media elite stopped ****-stirring they might have to go and do some journalism. Like finding out whether certain hedge funds had inside information when they shorted Natwest, or what happened to the various bribes, or....

@NatWest_Help Not again. The NatWest app still can’t scan my HMRC cheque. I complained about this previously and was told it would be fixed. Another cheque, same problem. How is this still not resolved? I’m tired of raising complaints.
