@O2 I have already been through this process. I spoke to someone from customer service and explained my circumstances. I’ve received nothing helpful in return and unfortunately your service was inoperable for the month in which I had to work in Southampton.

  • chris_greenf Chris Greenfield (@chris_greenf) reported from Wymondham, England

@EE Nah, Orange was better than T Mobile, but when you merged, the quality and signal went to ****. @O2 is miles better, and so far haven’t hit anyone with roaming charges either!

  • MatthewCaputo_ Matthew Caputo (@MatthewCaputo_) reported from Norwich, England

@Nickstuart07 @O2 Having a similar problem too! Worked in Southampton for a month with no 4G service due to a mast being down. Had to sit in coffee shops and pay for coffees to use WiFi. Problem still not fixed and no mention of compensation! #timeforchange #poorservice #o2

  • LouSmi2 Louise Smith (@LouSmi2) reported from Taverham, England

So I switch mobile across to @O2 and lo an behold I’m in the same situation... going round a call centre day after day with no one understanding the problem or able to fix! Shall I just give up on keeping the number I’ve had for the last 10 years?!? #poorcustomerservice #help

  • raybagslfc Daniel Rayner (@raybagslfc) reported from Spixworth, England

@O2 hi, wondering if you can help. Just got a new work mobile and nano SIM. Tried to initiate simswap but my old work mobile with larger micro sim won't boot up (hence the new phone)

  • Kjvincent1979 Kevin the carrot (@Kjvincent1979) reported from Costessey, England

@O2 4g network speed of 0.5 mbps so virtually non existent

  • MsEmilyAnarchy Miss Emily Anarchy (@MsEmilyAnarchy) reported from Norwich, England

@O2 Seems to. I was travelling on a train, using 3g as their wifi was broken. Between Ipswich and Diss (apx 1850 to 1920) no adult sites would load - stopped at IP lookup phase - but all others would. Clearing cache didn’t help but rebooting the phone did. Odd little glitch.

  • WelshUnderdog Jess (@WelshUnderdog) reported

@O2 always sending texts about being alert about fraud but then don’t want to know when it occurs. Customer service reps don’t want to help at all 😡

  • bazc1982 Barry (@bazc1982) reported

@djkus @EE @O2 On 18 months of paying for 5G getting piss poor 4G and seeing 3G for the first time in years, I’ll take my chances on a very rare outage from them

@O2 have you guys gone down? I literally can't text my partner nothing is being delivered either. Getting rather fed up of this issue now I have.

  • dd69_west dd69WestGrezes (@dd69_west) reported

@O2 I've spoken with complaints resolution at O2 and been told that the Government legislation is separate to their policy. So I sent the legislation link to O2, because if other providers are complying with the legislation, there's no reason why O2 are exempt. On with my challenge

  • Handsy_ Stephen Hands (@Handsy_) reported

Hi @O2 can you help please ? I've been a loyal customer of yours for many years (since the cellnet days...) and don't really want to have to switch provider. But there's a shocking lack of 5G signal from you in Dorset. When is Dorset going to have o2 5G ?

  • NickTaylor30 Nick Taylor (@NickTaylor30) reported

@O2 Given this reply I suggest that you temper your enthusiastic plugging of a service with such obvious and fixable shortcomings: “Our network team have ran some checks on your postcode and we’re afraid the level of coverage in your area would not support a smart meter at this time”
