  • LouSmi2 Louise Smith (@LouSmi2) reported from Taverham, England

So I switch mobile across to @O2 and lo an behold I’m in the same situation... going round a call centre day after day with no one understanding the problem or able to fix! Shall I just give up on keeping the number I’ve had for the last 10 years?!? #poorcustomerservice #help

  • nick_murrell Nick Murrell (@nick_murrell) reported from Thorpe St. Andrew, England

20 minutes in a call queue to be cut off again, your customer service is as bad as your phone signal @O2 #o2

  • nchnthman nchnthman (@nchnthman) reported from Norwich, England

@O2 why are O2 cold caring me? I am not their customer. GCPR? TPS registered? How did they get my number?

  • frankopazo1 Francisco Opazo (@frankopazo1) reported from Blofield, England

Dear @O2! Do you have plans to improve your signal in Blofield, Norwich? (3G = 1 bar is killing me 😩)

  • MatthewCaputo_ Matthew Caputo (@MatthewCaputo_) reported from Norwich, England

@Nickstuart07 @O2 Having a similar problem too! Worked in Southampton for a month with no 4G service due to a mast being down. Had to sit in coffee shops and pay for coffees to use WiFi. Problem still not fixed and no mention of compensation! #timeforchange #poorservice #o2

  • Kjvincent1979 Kevin the carrot (@Kjvincent1979) reported from Costessey, England

@O2 4g network speed of 0.5 mbps so virtually non existent

  • LancePaters1 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 (@LancePaters1) reported from Brundall, England

@O2 Considering leaving as very broken online upgrade/user tracking system causes same deal to cost *more* per month if you add an upfront payment for new device (£39 and change for 24 months without £50 upfront,£41 for exact same deal with £50 upfront). Also repeatedly crashes.

  • raybagslfc Daniel Rayner (@raybagslfc) reported from Spixworth, England

@O2 hi, wondering if you can help. Just got a new work mobile and nano SIM. Tried to initiate simswap but my old work mobile with larger micro sim won't boot up (hence the new phone)

  • dan_v_fat Dan Church (@dan_v_fat) reported from Norwich, England

@O2 7 months after cancelling a contract (where I was told it would be free of charge due to the poor service received) and I’m still receiving negative marks on my credit score with missed payments and letters from debt collectors for the amount which shouldn’t be there 1/2

  • davegriffin1233 David Griffin (@davegriffin1233) reported from Norwich, England

@jodielouiseart @O2 That is correct and I’ve knocked them ever since I still get the internet at home and around where WiFi is for what was a brand new iPhone 11+ just use a cheap £10 phone on #vodaphone as you get network with no problem

  • MsEmilyAnarchy Miss Emily Anarchy (@MsEmilyAnarchy) reported from Norwich, England

@O2 Seems to. I was travelling on a train, using 3g as their wifi was broken. Between Ipswich and Diss (apx 1850 to 1920) no adult sites would load - stopped at IP lookup phase - but all others would. Clearing cache didn’t help but rebooting the phone did. Odd little glitch.

  • MatthewCaputo_ Matthew Caputo (@MatthewCaputo_) reported from Norwich, England

@O2 I have already been through this process. I spoke to someone from customer service and explained my circumstances. I’ve received nothing helpful in return and unfortunately your service was inoperable for the month in which I had to work in Southampton.

  • chris_greenf Chris Greenfield (@chris_greenf) reported from Wymondham, England

@EE Nah, Orange was better than T Mobile, but when you merged, the quality and signal went to ****. @O2 is miles better, and so far haven’t hit anyone with roaming charges either!

  • Killi87 Liam Killington (@Killi87) reported from Scottow, England

    @SarahERyder @O2 Unfortunately @O2 signal isn’t great at mine....

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • TheSamNorris Sam Norris (@TheSamNorris) reported

@EnglandRugby @O2 Given how terrible the response has been for this kit, I actually think he RFU should admit defeat and change it and issue a statement saying they have listened to the fans.

  • MikeStrank LettertotheCarthaginians (@MikeStrank) reported

@EnglandRugby @O2 Jesus... the white is awful. Inspired by 1970's wallpaper? Black tends to hide all manner of sins.

  • kartik_cs Kartik Chandrasekhar (@kartik_cs) reported

Hi @O2. I haven’t had any network for the last 24h. I cannot call customer service since the network is down and the My O2 app says all your agents are busy. What is happening?

  • nick_murrell Nick Murrell (@nick_murrell) reported

@O2 Doesn't answer the question and hiding the speeds away in t&c is poor customer experience. So again, why is it capped at such a low speed it effectively makes smartphone usage impossible? #02

  • kerrie74055076 kerrie (@kerrie74055076) reported

@O2 wouldn't let me redeem the code for Apple Music says I already used it but I haven't how can you help me with this please

  • KamDhaliwalx Kam Dhaliwal (@KamDhaliwalx) reported

@O2 upgrade you but send out imaginary phones - called x6 times to be fobbed off!!! Been waiting by the front door since Fri for my phone to arrive. "Not our issue, speak ro DHL"

  • FennijerC RogueGuru 🦎 (@FennijerC) reported

@O2 any idea why my phone would be losing network connection and going to 'emergency calls only' regularly. It's happening in places I know I should have signal and I need to go in and out of airplane mode to get the network back. Been happening for a week or so

  • leemcbr37826036 lee mcbride (@leemcbr37826036) reported

@O2 Joining o2 who mistakenly terminate new contract migrating an old number, thentake 787 quid out of your account, admit it’s their error, but too incompetent to fix it. Then actually stop taking calls about the number except to take payment. #scumbags

  • Anthony15665779 MCFCANT88 (@Anthony15665779) reported

    @pds1980 @O2 Absolutely horrible o2 isn't it?

  • AndrewKanter Andrew Kanter (@AndrewKanter) reported

Hey @O2, switching from 3 after 10 years. Billing started days before my SIM arrived (not yet!). It's only £1.50 but off to a terrible start - this is outright theft. Now 20+ minutes into a chat to try and get resolved.
