So I switch mobile across to @O2 and lo an behold I’m in the same situation... going round a call centre day after day with no one understanding the problem or able to fix! Shall I just give up on keeping the number I’ve had for the last 10 years?!? #poorcustomerservice #help

@O2 Seems to. I was travelling on a train, using 3g as their wifi was broken. Between Ipswich and Diss (apx 1850 to 1920) no adult sites would load - stopped at IP lookup phase - but all others would. Clearing cache didn’t help but rebooting the phone did. Odd little glitch.

@O2 Considering leaving as very broken online upgrade/user tracking system causes same deal to cost *more* per month if you add an upfront payment for new device (£39 and change for 24 months without £50 upfront,£41 for exact same deal with £50 upfront). Also repeatedly crashes.

@EE Nah, Orange was better than T Mobile, but when you merged, the quality and signal went to ****. @O2 is miles better, and so far haven’t hit anyone with roaming charges either!

@Nickstuart07 @O2 Having a similar problem too! Worked in Southampton for a month with no 4G service due to a mast being down. Had to sit in coffee shops and pay for coffees to use WiFi. Problem still not fixed and no mention of compensation! #timeforchange #poorservice #o2

@O2 I have already been through this process. I spoke to someone from customer service and explained my circumstances. I’ve received nothing helpful in return and unfortunately your service was inoperable for the month in which I had to work in Southampton.

@O2 I'm waiting to hear back from the council as I've emailed them and hoping there will be no more issues. I will definitely be taking it further if it's not that straightforward. It's been so much hassle and nuisance

@FelicityCloake @O2 I would think you are entitled to see anything they have on you under the DPA (Data Protection Act). But I would definitely pursue it, and a complaint to Ombudsman. So frustrating and time-wasting for you, i am sorry.

@wgardner101 @ThreeUK @O2 I’ve always been pleased with Three but the reception on the Fylde coast is dreadful. I’ve noticed no difference with 5G so I’m not fussed about that. Time to change network 📱

@SplintDriftwood @O2 I have the same issue and after searching can see customers have been having this problem since back in 2009. Phones are kinda essential nowadays so leaving us without one when you advertise we will get them next day is really bad customer service. Nobody can seem to explain
