Peter 🇺🇦 (@rushworth_peter) reported from Wallington, England@O2 @darklilly1604 App used to work. Now you have to validate you login with virgin which I assume many people have done, it work once, then you trying opening it again and you have to go through the validation process all over again. The worst process ever. Ditch the app. At least Priority works
-
Shaun O’Brien (@shaunobrien_) reported from Portsmouth, England@O2 It’s everywhere in Portsmouth. I had this exact same problem when I lived here. As soon as I get to Havant, my phone is slow, takes forever to call out to anyone, phone doesn’t ring when people call me, internet is rubbish.

Pete K. 🇬🇧 🇪🇺 🇩🇪 (@petekitching) reported from Fareham, England@O2 Just been to store to upgrade 2 phones. Given price £10 a month each dearer than competitor. Not willing to match. How to lose a customer of 26 years in one easy lesson. Not good business. Even my insurers will negotiate to keep the good business of an easy customer.
-
KatKat (@dreamkatchme) reported from Gosport, England@O2 How? The app has literally been down since 8 this morning so how? It was working for me until then and kicked me@out. I’ve been trying to get back in ever since and now the tickets are all over the resale sites at a ridiculous price. Disgraceful.

O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Martin Renel (@RogerR4BBIT) reported@O2 have a multi SIM contract & it is impossible to get a PAC code for one of them despite you being legally required to do so. Text doesn't work for multi SIM and website gets stuck in a loop back to main account page every time. No one has picked up the phone in 3 lengthy calls
-
judith (@judith95656634) reported@arokorol @O2 Force your device onto an Israeli network. “Palestine” does not have agreements with most networks, and the cost per minute/byte is higher than on a cruise ship!!!!
-
Benjamin Webster (@benjaminlfc) reported@O2 @JustinDiamond16 Many, many people have reported this just on X alone, I have reported it via Customer Service and they’ve opened a ticket and nothing has been done (no surprises there). This has been going on for months and months, if you do manage to get to the section where it asks for your card details choosing the Apple Pay option just spins and spins and then says Apple Pay isn’t available, if you manually enter card details 9 times out of 10 the payment fails. Turn to the IVR system over the phone and payments are successful, a payment reference is read out by the automated system at the speed of light therefore you have absolutely no time to write it down and then said payment just doesn’t reflect on the account. Why you messed around with the billing system I’ll never know, 18 years this year I’ll have been an O2 customer and the previous system was perfectly fine, have you never heard of the phrase “IF IT AIN’T BROKE DON’T FIX IT”?
-
amy simpson (@amy_jo_23) reported@O2 since you have teamed up with @virginmedia my inter on my mobile has been awful signal keeps dropping driving me mad
-
Sean W (@Sean_Bahamut) reported@O2 You've clarified, but not helped. This reply is not helpful at all. Your support staff also had no idea about this situation, or how to handle it. All they could do as a solution was terminate game pass subscription before my minimum 6 month period had finished. Not good enough
-
Germander Speedwell (@selfheal) reported@Chuffin_ell @O2 ...to afford the combined cost of the handset and the line rental for a large download limit, but with their help I could and amazingly they as a branch have repeated this same discount every time I have returned to upgrade my phone since. A small act of charity on their part...
-
Dr. Pawan Jain (@drvayu) reported@O2 Yes after paying two visits to the store and couple of hours of parking fee. Your great service is really appreciated. Thanks
-
Kiff (@Himynameiskiff) reported@O2 I don't want to get rid of the handset, I just want to know if I can get rid of the airtime? I'm in a 30 day rolling contract rather than a 12/24/36 month contract. The signal is so poor round where I live and I just can't manage with it anymore and have considered leaving.
-
lea.i.am🏳️🌈👬♥️ (@Liammanning2u) reported@O2 could you please help me regarding a bill your customer service on 202 are not really understanding
-
baba (@olamultimilli) reported@O2 @O2 A DM won’t fix what’s been ignored for months. This is public so there’s a record. I will DM but I expect a resolution instantly, not another “we’re looking into it.” CISAS case #713631. Credit file still wrong.
