Then 1st of April no access to any network/no numbers working (new number wasnโt working and the old one she was getting changed over to wasnโt working) so phoned 02 and waited nearly 2 hours to get through and was told 24 hours

Get that and then take it to Ofcom. Sounds utterly ridiculous to credit you, not repay!
