Paul (@itspaulactually) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@O2 @robashcroft1 I’m in the same areas with the inclusion of Warrington. I’ve not got a 5G ready phone, all my mates that do have no issues with signal. Clearly prioritising 5G over 4G and gaslighting everyone with pointless tips that don’t work @O2
-
Paul Craig (@PaulCraig91) reported from Livingston, Scotland@O2 Probably the Krosly Tracker. I don't drive but, my other half (some say better) @larissa_bohan (a current o2 customer) I think will get use out of it as she drives 😊 Many thanks again! #TheLittleThings
-
Cameron Macdonald (@fkcommanderscam) reported from Hallglen, Scotland@O2 good afternoon this is my last resort. Rachael Santangelo (@Glam_Rach) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@VodafoneUK I left @O2 after 12 years after rubbish service. I've been with you 6 years but keep ignoring me tweets about the problems only your customers seem to be having with @GooglePlay and their p20 and I'll be on my merry way.... Post a formal complaint

zoë johnston (@zoeLjohnston) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandI really wish I got the name of the customer service assistant on @O2 yesterday! She was outstanding!! -
John M Hunt (@Johnmhunt) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandI spoke online to @threeuk and also a shop and the deal wasn’t anywhere near as good as @O2 so now moved 2 of the 3 phones on Three to O2. These questions to “help you” obviously don’t make any difference as it’s still the same deal being offered when I moved the last one. 2/2
-
Harp (@HarpSilver) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@srs0591 @O2 @GoogleUK Just a pain in the *** tbh as O2 customer service way better and easier to use than EE
-
Simona_la tradulettrice (@ladysmanca) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@O2 Thanks! As I need my phone for work I need to sort the issue soon.

-
Paul (@itspaulactually) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandEnough is enough, @O2. You put my bill up 10.7% in April yet I’m getting woeful 4G signal wherever I go (even with full bars). Everyone I know with a 5G ready phone has no issues. Stop gaslighting everyone and just tell the truth and start refunding for your lack of service! #o2
-
💚Marie💚 (@Baigrie1985) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@O2 I would rather get one as soon as possible nearest store to me is gyle would I just need to walk in and would they be able to help me keep my number?
-
Peter Williamson Garland🕷️ (@TwtrMinstrel) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@O2 Scary that company of your size can get away with a mass grand theft, Free Disney which costs £5.99 per month. As in, NOT FREE. Your offshore customer service uses 'English not first language' and cut offs when having to deal with real problems.
-
Zenbloke 🏴 (@Zenbloke) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@O2 you've changed something about the my O2 app and now I can't get in and when I asked for a password reminder the code won't work so now I can't tell how much data I have during a lockdown please help

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Hugies (@HughEdw54983916) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I thought you believed in the free market. It's not the government's job to support mobile phone operators.
-
𝐷𝑟. 𝐼𝑎𝑛 𝐶𝑢𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑠 (@IanCutress) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE What did you do in the years you were in government to fix it? Plenty of time to do something, and yet. Stop virtue signalling and find some introspection.
-
Skylier (@ebamsky) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 You're right. O2 should be the worst. I've used Three (more of coverage than quality problem) which was fair, I've recently ported to EE-based provider from O2.
-
Umm...nope (@Ummnope7) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE It's not the government's job to help you choose a decent mobile phone service. You're a grown man. You can make your own consumer choices, whether they be sensible or stupid.
-
Sarah Ludford 🇬🇧 🇮🇪🇪🇺 🇺🇦 (@SarahLudford) reportedIt’s not just ‘recently’ @O2. @TomTugendhat is absolutely right that your mobile coverage in London is consistently poor. I have found it better in rural Spain than in ‘London, Global City’. Perhaps @MayorofLondon could direct his £7m PR spend to mobile infrastructure instead?
-
Chris (@ChrisHa21736755) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE The UK mobile companies have been dealing with massive 4G and 5G investment costs and ever decreasing margins due to reducing contract prices. Meanwhile mobile use continues to rise leading to network congestion. All part of a healthy competitive market you might say.
-
The Only Way is Ethics… (@F00LEDAGAIN) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE What did the last government prioritise over phone signals? The problem is not new
-
Ellie Winters (@N104AP) reported@Marooned_Sailor @O2 @Ofcom the issue with mmwave is whilst the bands were recently auctioned, theres another thing stopping the mmwave rollout which doesnt even have anything to do with the carriers, device manufacturers keep making it US exclusive, with international models not having it, so then the carriers dont build the infrastructure, so then the companies dont ship mmwave hardware, and it just goes in circles i dont think we'll ever have mmwave in this country at this rate
-
Christopher (NOT Chris) (@puncharama) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @vodafone Try speaking to the regulator about it then you can really see why uk services are so poor
-
CookieBuoy (@RyanNoKneel) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Charge it to the taxpayer on expenses and get the govt to bankrupt them. And then **** off, parasite
