O2 Issues Reports Near Forfar, Scotland

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Forfar and nearby locations:

  • Rachypach168 Rachel Robertson (@Rachypach168) reported from Dundee, Scotland

Bit annoyed that when my @O2 tablet contract came to an end, I phoned to cancel and was told I'd have to swap it to a rolling contract with a new sim even though I wouldn't be using it...thus being charged £6.39 a month for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING...

  • dougaitken Doug (@dougaitken) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@PaulAnnett @O2 @tescomobile Oh coverage should be the same. But coverage is just where the signal is, not how good it is. You then have to think about congestion, bandwidth, bandwidth allocation, etc.

  • Kenny_B63 A Bloke With A Camera (@Kenny_B63) reported from Dundee, Scotland

Losing the will to live trying to get through to @O2, customer services advisors incapable of transferring my call, on hold now for almost an hour.

  • dougaitken Doug (@dougaitken) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@PaulAnnett @O2 @tescomobile Most MNVOs run subpar to the main network since it’s related to allocation. O2 don’t want Tesco customers usage affecting their own customers so you’ll often find that MNVOs have lower bandwidth etc.

  • OggLynne Lynne Ogg (@OggLynne) reported from Monifieth, Scotland

@O2 your #iphone screen protectors are duff! First one edge-cracked on day 1, 2nd within a month. I really don’t want to do another 60 min round trip for an exchange. Help!

  • kirstymiller81 💎kirsty🎓RGN🎓 (@kirstymiller81) reported from Arbroath, Scotland

@O2 I am absolutely disgusted at the customer service, for the first time in nearly 20 years a customer. Monies has been taking from my account. X4 although I was told my card is not working. I was told I would recieve it in 24hours it has now been 3 days. I want answers asap.

Except the lads in the shop, @O2 customer service is really ****. Shops computers broke, app broke, website broke, ******* phone hung up. ****

  • Epic_Kirsty Kiki (@Epic_Kirsty) reported

@ColeClayton1995 @O2 I've been trying to get someone from O2 to deal with my problems for over a month, chasing it up almost daily and I'm still no further forward.

  • MonikaTalaga Monika (@MonikaTalaga) reported

@O2 be careful guys, when getting on a journey with @o2, what was supposed to be a simple number transition became a nightmare that is taking now 5 days of me being cut off from my service right before my big European trip starting on Monday. It’s a big NO for @o2 , shame !

  • Faybee21 Fay Gibson (@Faybee21) reported

@88ejackson88 @O2 I’m having the same bloody problem and go away tomorrow so left with a broken phone. I would have just gone to the Trafford centre if I’d known this!

  • Epic_Kirsty Kiki (@Epic_Kirsty) reported

@gingerllama79 @O2 I've been waiting for 36 days for a response to my complaint. Over a month. In that time I've told them that the unending waiting and O2 continuing to take my money without consent from my account has caused me to self harm to the point I needed stitches and still nothing.

  • Sami_antha83 Sami (@Sami_antha83) reported

@O2 so still no reply to my issue! After DM and answering security message. Stranded with no service #poorservice

  • steelysteph Steph Sims (@steelysteph) reported

@O2 My sim card actually arriving! It’s been 2 weeks now and, being a holiday weekend, I’ll need to wait until Tuesday at the earliest. Not a good start for a new customer.

  • MsVanillaRose Bewitching Sexy Hag (@MsVanillaRose) reported

@O2 seem fine about keeping £2.55 that doesn't belong to them. Are there any mobile service providers that any of you wise people could recommend that aren't O2?

  • luke57575757 Luke 🇺🇦 (@luke57575757) reported

@O2 It would be nice to get a reply to me DM! I’ve been waiting over 1 hour now and also waiting almost 1 hour 30 minutes in your messaging service on the 02 app. It’s about my monthly bill so it’s important!

  • ChrisTreen Chris Treen (@ChrisTreen) reported

@O2 Thanks. I've always been able to connect before, but now when I try to connect it asks for a network password rather than asking me to login as an O2 customer.
