Could someone at @O2 explain why the service in BT61 has been diabolical for almost two weeks? Bit of a nerve advising us of a spike in bills alongside a drop in service? Not exactly sure what I’m paying for at the minute.

@O2 No, I hung up. I’m not spending my evening trying to cancel a SIM that I’ve never used because it was bundled with a virgin media product. I’ve cancelled my direct debit and this is my correspondence that I’ve cancelled the contract. You lot do what you want

@O2 Oh, and to be precise: the password reset doesn't work so I have to create a new account every time using the same email address I was already registered with!

@O2 Respectfully I disagree with that. Nobody who lives near me has phone signal. But I have phone signal when I leave the town I live in. Your signal checker shows no issues either

@O2 Thanks - I’ve paid now - since posting here. I also tried calling 202 from my phone the workflow funnelled me to a dead end and could t send me a link. I wasn’t offered the option of a human. After being a customer for 2 decades - it forced me to think of the cheaper alternatives.

    Charlotte (@CharlotteW_R) reported

@O2 As I said when you last sent me this link, it isn’t a true reflection of what the signal actually is. We are lucky to get one bar at the moment. Please see your previous messages as I was told an engineer would check the mast and I will get an update.

  • SarahDruscilla
    Sarah Loughran (@SarahDruscilla) reported

@O2 Thanks I used it & we get “good outdoors”. That is a definite reduction in service as it used to be good in & outdoors. Why have we experienced a reduction in service?

  • KerZE87
    emze (@KerZE87) reported

@Mr__J_J @O2 That’s disgusting!!! I’d definitely look elsewhere that’s appalling customer service. They’ve been “fixing” a mast near me for weeks, keep giving completion dates and it’s never fixed and then they send out new alerts with new completion dates and again never fixed. I’m not asking for a complete refund just money off my bills bc why tf am I paying £73 a month for no service @O2

  • Superflymarco
    Mr M (@Superflymarco) reported

@O2 Yes I’ve checked and logged in and apparently I was alerted previously my bill was going up extra which was outwith my agreement increase and I had a limited time due to this to terminate contract freely. I don’t wish to do that but I do wish my bill to be less like before.

    Nilla (@Ladytelp) reported

What a joke @O2 trying to upgrade my @sonyxperia phone and you only offer iPhones and Samsung you lost me as a customer now! Was a nice 17 years of using you but remember not everyone wants iPhones and Samsung products

@Bov__ @O2 @VodafoneUK Depends if it’s cheaper to move to another carrier that gives you the same *wonderful* service 🙃
