@O2 Hi I need some help with a SIM swap. I have tried going in store but they said it’s an old account and have no access. When I call the customer care line it says call centres are closed and when I log onto the online portal it only lets you activate a blank sim?

Could someone at @O2 explain why the service in BT61 has been diabolical for almost two weeks? Bit of a nerve advising us of a spike in bills alongside a drop in service? Not exactly sure what I’m paying for at the minute.

@O2 question for you .. If I upgrade 24 mths 20gb data equals £47.17 a month If I get a new contract 24 mths 60gb data equals £33 a month for the same phone .. Q... have O2 ever thought of customer loyalty and maybe rewarding loyal customers instead of screwing them?

@TGratzek @O2 That app just shoes cell information and signal quality. I did do a speed test at that location and it was 100 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. The best I've seen on 5G in the UK is 100 Mbps, but the network I'm on has only 40 MHz bandwidth for 5G at the moment.

  • suzannassj Suzanna Swanson-Johnston (@suzannassj) reported

@O2 customer support is SHOCKING. No way of speaking to someone over the phone. Just automated options, which direct you to the app and then say 'Bye' and hang up. Their DMs and 'agent chat' feature just repeats the same.
