@O2 Hi I need some help with a SIM swap. I have tried going in store but they said it’s an old account and have no access. When I call the customer care line it says call centres are closed and when I log onto the online portal it only lets you activate a blank sim?

@b3n4ndy @O2 Having exactly the same issue today! Third party saying evidence they've of the transfer and billing us which they couldn't do if they haven't done it properly. O2 saying its managed by a third party so they can't sort it out and paying them also as its an active line.

@tescomobile sort out your @O2 number porting. Been a problem for a while now and customers are suffering with no data, calls or texts. Embarrassing

@CraigHawker @O2 I'm giving @SMARTYMobileUK a go. No contract and roaming included. Uses the Three network (who I was with before) and its working just the same

@O2 please explain how I ordered a new phone on the 7th and it has still not arrived and every time I call your customer service I get told to wait 24 hours so they can find out what's going on.

For both @EE and @O2 the mobile signal across Beverley in East Riding of Yorkshire is consistently terrible. Hard enough to make a call, you can forget any data coverage. Businesses lost trade over Xmas as often couldn't take card payments.

@O2 I fail to see the logic surrounding additional waiting when a customer is not happy that O2 not storing information is what’s leading to a delay in the first place. Surely O2 as the supplier should maintain information on the devices they are giving to their customers?

@Thandietweetss @O2 Hello, we’ve taken note of your message. This is not the standard of service our customers should ever be receiving. We are sorry that you encountered issues with our service. We would kindly ask you to contact us through DM so we can assist you more. Many thanks

@O2 after 8 days and 10+ hours of shambolic customer service a simple number transfer is not resolved. No bell forthcoming, no email acknowledgement. Complete charlatans! Avoid at all costs
