Fiona (@fionatogher) reported from Lincoln District, EnglandIt’s really not my week for customer service 🙈 just rang @o2 and the person I was speaking too hung up on me! I’m not sure why people go into customer service if they can’t be polite. Very disappointing #o2 #poorcustomerservice

Becky Malam (@Carlton_head) reported from Lincoln District, England@O2 I’m really struggling to cancel an IPad data plan. Please help

Michaela (@HeyImMichaela) reported from Balderton, England@Oh_So_T @O2 I rang up but it wasn't very helpful. My signal is still poor. I have a months credit on my bill though now, so at least I'm not paying for it... Still doesn't help the frustration waiting for stuff to load!
-
Whistleblowing Imp (@badkarma4liars) reported from Lincoln District, England@O2 Please don't buy ...No one should buy @SamsungMobile anymore. I was lumbered with the new fold and my son has the flip both under 6 months old. The screens are not working consistently and if you return to @SamsungUK experience stores they aren't owned by the company
-
Lorena Jane (@TakePartin_Art) reported from Bracebridge Heath, EnglandWhy can’t @O2 peeps on #o2 live chat just chat to one person at a time when sorting issues. I have to wait 393726181 minutes before each of their replies. #rude
-
Craig Symons (@Pocimop) reported from Boultham, EnglandWell still no broadband from virgin and it turns out a phone mast isn’t working near me on @O2 even though I reported problems with the network 4 days ago. Shame their not this slow when it comes to taking my money when the bills are due.

Michael Bratley (@MichaelBratley) reported from Bracebridge Heath, England@O2 I’ve come to check the status checker again today as advised in the email in the image above. Now it says the next update will be the 13th October. When will the issue be resolved? This is getting ridiculous.
-
Michael Bratley (@MichaelBratley) reported from Lincoln District, England@O2 Ahh that would explain it, you’ve taken a mast down. It says you are boosting other masts, but do you know when this will be complete?
-
Michael Bratley (@MichaelBratley) reported from Bracebridge Heath, England@O2 The signal quality seems to have decreased where I live. Sometimes this will result in just a 3G signal, or very low strength of 4G. I’m not convinced the issue is O2 specific as multiple neighbours have reported the same thing for other networks. Any mast issues?
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England@O2 @virginmedia Thanks I’ll look into what multi-sim plans you have but the reason I left was due to poor family, multi user based tariffs.
-
Damian Kinsella (@damokins82) reported from Carlton on Trent, EnglandHi @O2 I’d like to sort out my signal issues before I fully commit to o2 for another 2 years. I’m having odd issues with my data, and network coverage at home & out & about. I’m using a Samsung Galaxy A50. I have noticed something odd, while trialling sky mobile I’m the same

Gary Watts 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇳🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️♻️ (@glitch_walker) reported from Lincoln District, EnglandI'm currently having an incredibly distressing experience trying to cancel an @O2 sim-only contract, where I've left in the 14 day "change your mind period" and been told multiple times I won't be charged. Then received a warning a £500 bill is overdue.
O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
VillaChicken (@AVFCMadrid27) reported@O2 @o2 your signal coverage app is incorrect. The map show blue where there is no reliable 5g, cant generally get 4g. This is not temporary, been the case for months. People need to go into Shops for wifi to pay parking.
-
Martin (@iMarbot) reported@O2 Blue Mondays not working for second week in a row :/ Last week was just not working at all, this week it says my phone number and email are already registered and provides no way to use the existing registration to spin.
-
Dave Payne (@davehpayne) reportedI’m sick to death of going round in circles with you @O2 - struggled online, instagram was just a bot, phone didn’t solve anything. How do you get away with such a poor service? I wish you put as much effort into providing a reliable mobile service as you do in promoting gigs!
-
Niamh Spurle (@niamhs90) reported@O2 adding a load of extra steps to get into my account to pay my bill is driving me mad. Paying full price for a service that was down for over 3 months is more annoying.
-
Vankomisin (@omer_ygnbrc) reported@debra_w_hughes @O2 Same issue; @ThomXTech on X resolved it.
-
Jambo (@The_real_Jambo_) reported@O2 @KerZE87 O2 has went downhill since they merged with Virgin media. I constantly have issues logging into myo2 app because I use a different email address for my o2 and virgin media accounts. Constantly asked to link the accounts which I do then I cant log into the apps.
-
Duncan Butterfield (@duncangreeneye) reported@O2 Can I get a signal update for Darlington please? Been a month now, I'm self employed & it's been a disaster here. Been a customer of yours since 1998.
-
peek (@Peek0320) reported@O2 your switch up scheme is a massive scam, got me to sign up to a new contract, received my phone and listed issues literally not present on the device and told me to now keep paying for the device as well as my new one. Lmao 🖕
-
Craig Hunter (@CraigHunter74) reported@O2 @JakeMooreUK I have the same issue ever since 5G came out, my Spotify never dropped out when driving but it’s like an old car radio now. Will definitely be thinking about another network soon
-
Jake Moore (@JakeMooreUK) reported@O2 Yes. But it shouldn’t need this. I slightly understand when it’s a busy area with lots of people but it’s 2026 and we shouldn’t be overloading it. It would be better if you just said no service. Frustrating.
