Darn. So fed up with our @Plusnet broadband I was looking forward to changing supplier next month so imagine my disappointment when I realise I signed up for a 18 month contract. The modem is pathetic (and noisy) and wifi quality is shockingly bad.

@tabamatu @DrunkRes Erm - BT Group own Plusnet, and Openreach will still be responsible for the line. If connection issues are due to line noise, unless the router is better, may not make a huge difference...

@Plusnet hi, just wanted to check if you think 30 minutes is an acceptable time to be on hold for a fault? I reckon if I called for a new service I'd have been spoken to and completed my order by now.

@Plusnet Appreciate that, but done that in the past and no help was given other than “spend 25 quid on a booster and it might work”

@Plusnet it is 10:14am, roughly 22 hours after my original request for help. the sim cards have arrived. i have not heard anything from plusnet's customer service team. I would still like to know how they deemed it acceptable for me to not have a working phone for 4-5 days.
