@tabamatu @DrunkRes Erm - BT Group own Plusnet, and Openreach will still be responsible for the line. If connection issues are due to line noise, unless the router is better, may not make a huge difference...

Darn. So fed up with our @Plusnet broadband I was looking forward to changing supplier next month so imagine my disappointment when I realise I signed up for a 18 month contract. The modem is pathetic (and noisy) and wifi quality is shockingly bad.

@Plusnet getting hacked off now. No service from 12 September to 7 October and went off again on 14th October. I have no phone to call you to sort this out.

@ispreview I once looked at Plusnet for pricing. It took 20 minutes, a call to them and a spreadsheet to work out. Why? Introductory discounts for the first few months and entirely different minimum contract lengths for broadband and fixed line service. Ended up not competitive.

@BeansInYourBum @MatthewStadlen @CentreLeft_ Though Sky and TalkTalk do have a switching service for user email accounts, you can hold on to your Plusnet and BT for an additional monthly fee after your service switches.

if you are considering using @Plusnet for broadband then save your money. the service is terrible. if you enjoy your internet being slower than a mobile phone, and bad customer service then use them, but if you want a professional service then look elsewhere

Great start to changing broadband contract. @TalkTalk cut us off without telling us, despite us still having a few days left on the contract. Also @Plusnet only just dispatched the router today and their “award winning” customer service don’t start work until 8am. Brilliant.

@Plusnet Hi! Can you please explain why you sent me a bill for £200 to close my account when you were supposed to transfer the account to my new address? Bad enough I had to wait two weeks for WiFi at the new property despite me notifying you well in advance. Thanks.
