Darn. So fed up with our @Plusnet broadband I was looking forward to changing supplier next month so imagine my disappointment when I realise I signed up for a 18 month contract. The modem is pathetic (and noisy) and wifi quality is shockingly bad.

@tabamatu @DrunkRes Erm - BT Group own Plusnet, and Openreach will still be responsible for the line. If connection issues are due to line noise, unless the router is better, may not make a huge difference...

Poor show from @Plusnet overall - why not tell customers about this strike action that is clearly going to affect lots of new and existing customers?

@Plusnet I’m a new customer and was told my activation was today. I spent an hour getting through to your customer service who confirmed it was today. Still hasn’t been activated sent two DMs which have not been ignored. Can someone reply asap so disappointed with the service.

@Plusnet Don't you worry. You were happy to fob me off to the Ombudsman knowing the way you treated me was crappy and the compensation was insulting so I'm sure they'll deal with the situation as effectively as possible. Your customer service is: mess up then apologise. Rinse. Repeat.

@fatedfox @Plusnet Yet they will open a ticket with "Hi and thanks for your time today on the telephone, i can confirm the reason why your broadband is down is because of a major service outage in the area," Can't be that major if it's not listed I guess...
