Caoimhe Daly (@caoimherosaleen) reported from Manchester, England@PostOffice I was told that they’d deposit my English bank notes but not my Northern Irish notes. They weren’t tested by a checker pen or UV light to see if they were real, so the issue was that the staff did not recognise the NI notes rather than me trying to bank fake notes. V frustrating!
-
Michael Agbaji (@AgbajiMichael) reported from Manchester, EnglandThanks @RoyalMail @PostOffice for forgetting and losing my envelope while addressing it to the Student Finance PO Box 🙃 It took yous a month just to realize that and reply back. An apology won't resolve the issue. P.S: My birth-certificate was in that envelope! 👏🏿👏🏿

Paul McNally (@iampaulmcnally) reported from Manchester, England@PostOffice To be honest am beyond caring. Took the packet to a different post office who accepted it, weren’t rude and unhelpful and generally made up for the shambles earlier in the day. If a customer can’t weigh to the accuracy required then there needs to be an option to add extra.
-
Paul McNally (@iampaulmcnally) reported from Salford, England******* my Post Office tweet seems to have got postmasters up in arms up and down the country. All over 3g. Perfectly happy to pay the extra but if the system doesn’t allow me to pay the extra the system is rubbish. @PostOffice what happened to trying to help a customer?

julian (@Julian2017124) reportedUnlike my experiences with @PostOffice and @WilliamHill who fought me every single step, refused to apologise, and never properly fixed their mistakes, at least Sky has shown a real difference. This highlights how some companies seem to think they’re above the law, above being challenged, and completely unaccountable for their actions and decisions. Importantly, it’s not about companies always giving in or admitting the customer is right every single time sometimes the customer can be wrong. But when the customer has clear evidence that proves their side of the story beyond reasonable doubt, it shouldn’t be difficult for a company to simply say: “Yes, we made a mistake here’s your full payout.” Take the £5.75 @WilliamHill owed/owes me but refused and still refusing to pay properly they should have just admitted the error and fixed it. Why do some companies struggle so much to be honest and say sorry when things go wrong? It doesn’t have to end in long adjudication processes or court battles. Disputes should be settled fairly and quickly through agreement, not turned into fights.
