@SusanACreed @PostOffice The Post Office provides the counter service , Royal Mail the delivery service. They are two separate businesses so with regards to your pricing issue you are targeting the wrong business

  • kirsty2402 Kirsty (@kirsty2402) reported from Oldham, England

@jajayourlife why would @PostOffice close their money app before yours is set up and working? Service not looking great so far.

  • iampaulmcnally Paul McNally (@iampaulmcnally) reported from Salford, England

If you lot spent as much time arguing how ridiculous it is that you can’t top up online postage rather than bitching about customer service trying to help, maybe the @PostOffice wouldn’t be on its arse as much. Dear god.

  • AngelaMcKavana1 cloudbusting (@AngelaMcKavana1) reported from Walkden, England

@PostOffice Glad we agree on something! Honestly if you keep appeasing the ppl who throw gays off buildings then you must support it! Pick a side!

  • Dave___Allen Dave Allen (@Dave___Allen) reported from Salford, England

Been on to the @PostOffice this morning and in a 5 minute conversation renewed my broadband for another 12 months, same package and for £2 less per month. And, they never tried to sell me anything else....... take note #skybroadband

  • shenstock2005 Sarah Henstock (@shenstock2005) reported from Rochdale, England

@PostOffice our annual travel insurance just ran out. No acknowledgement of the fact it has been a waste of money for 4 months, just an increased premium for next 12 months. Awful customer service. No thanks

******* my Post Office tweet seems to have got postmasters up in arms up and down the country. All over 3g. Perfectly happy to pay the extra but if the system doesn’t allow me to pay the extra the system is rubbish. @PostOffice what happened to trying to help a customer?

  • murphwa Tracey (@murphwa) reported from Manchester, England

@PostOffice my mother is 87 her post office phone line has not worked since Tuesday. Her care on call is attached to the phone line. 4 emails later, no one has been to fix it. The telephone help line closes at 5 and does not support nhs workers that are not home till after 5

  • sxmmieftw sammie (@sxmmieftw) reported from Manchester, England

Never go with @PostOffice for broadband it's the most awful to do business with and you cant get out of business with them otherwise you're hit with a hefty cancellation fee to pay off the rest if your contract but you cant even change address without taking out a new contract!!

  • iampaulmcnally Paul McNally (@iampaulmcnally) reported from Manchester, England

@PostOffice To be honest am beyond caring. Took the packet to a different post office who accepted it, weren’t rude and unhelpful and generally made up for the shambles earlier in the day. If a customer can’t weigh to the accuracy required then there needs to be an option to add extra.

  • steven_rothwell steven rothwell (@steven_rothwell) reported from Hindley, England

@PostOffice Are your website opening times just a guide nowadays. How am I supposed to collect a parcel when your never open #joke

  • iampaulmcnally Paul McNally (@iampaulmcnally) reported from Salford, England

And also would like to thank Jess on the @PostOffice Twitter for at least trying to help rather than being obstructive and argumentative. If you are business that turns people away with no option for a package being 3g over I’ll just use DPD or UPS

  • caoimherosaleen Caoimhe Daly (@caoimherosaleen) reported from Manchester, England

@PostOffice I was told that they’d deposit my English bank notes but not my Northern Irish notes. They weren’t tested by a checker pen or UV light to see if they were real, so the issue was that the staff did not recognise the NI notes rather than me trying to bank fake notes. V frustrating!

  • SianGalloway Sian Galloway (@SianGalloway) reported from Oldham, England

@PostOffice what do I do if I’ve lost my card to be able to pay my customs fee? Please help

  • samantha_nev Samantha Neville (@samantha_nev) reported from Bury, England

Post Office Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • NPhilatelics NorvicPhilatelics #WearAMask to #ProtectOthers. (@NPhilatelics) reported

@Philatelovely @tagula_blue If the sender posted it at a @PostOffice counter the stamps should have been cancelled with the counter date stamp. If it was just dropped in a box, then I'm afraid it's very much pot luck, and the pen is much quicker than any other method, especially with 19 stamps to cancel!

  • ruthlucie ruth 🪴 (@ruthlucie) reported

Post office maybe put more than one person on the counter on a Saturday eh? @PostOffice Bloke on the self service is excellent but my parcel needs scanned! #BeingAKaren

I am absolutely disgusted with Andrew at @PostOffice customer service call centre, for his treatment of my 94 year old grandmother who has dementia!!

  • _Char_RD Charlotte Dore RD (@_Char_RD) reported

I didn't know @PostOffice's don't get paid when accepting pre-paid packages but @RoyalMail do. The poor gentleman in our local Post Office he gets lots of parcels this time of year.

  • leepfwd Lee Petts (PR and Marketing Guy) (@leepfwd) reported

@NillySutton @PostOffice I would hazard a guess and say no. I don't believe Royal Mail uses GetResponse (online email service) like this and, if it does, it certainly doesn't use the entry-level package that means emails contain the GetResponse footer...

  • shwetajaswal Shweta Jaswal (@shwetajaswal) reported

@IndiaPostOffice I think you should close your postoffice in sector 56 in Gurgaon. Server is always down, nobody wishes to work there, registered post is waste according to your employees, even answering a question is a problem, pathetic services
