Dear @PostOffice I've paid £642 for mail redirection for 6 months for my business. Last time I visited our old office I collected quite a bit of mail. Today I am told there is more to collect and we have had no mail here for a week. It's not working is it! How do I resolve?

  • iampaulmcnally Paul McNally (@iampaulmcnally) reported from Salford, England

******* my Post Office tweet seems to have got postmasters up in arms up and down the country. All over 3g. Perfectly happy to pay the extra but if the system doesn’t allow me to pay the extra the system is rubbish. @PostOffice what happened to trying to help a customer?

  • ITtimmins Isaac Timmins (@ITtimmins) reported from Warrington, England

@PostOffice Thanks. I understand it's hard times but 3-11 are a very large gap even of you got someone till 7pm that would still have evening service.

  • davidareader David Reader (@davidareader) reported from Rochdale, England

So, anyway, besides the gripe about you being stuck in the past.. How about clarifying @PostOffice policy on providing proof of postage .. and if you won't, how about @RoyalMailHelp fix their processes to not require it?

  • iampaulmcnally Paul McNally (@iampaulmcnally) reported from Salford, England

And also would like to thank Jess on the @PostOffice Twitter for at least trying to help rather than being obstructive and argumentative. If you are business that turns people away with no option for a package being 3g over I’ll just use DPD or UPS

  • ImKarlLucas ImKarlLucas (@ImKarlLucas) reported from Wilmslow, England

Possible the worst @PostOffice I’ve ever experienced & what a surprise @Tesco owns the franchise!Horrible person called ‘Monique’ on the counter.Usually #postoffice staff are excellent! Don’t use this @wilmslowonline branch : #tesco please sort this awful jobsworth branch out.

  • Britnieburge Andrea (@Britnieburge) reported from Warrington, England

@PostOffice please tell me why your branches state you are open til 12.30 but stop customers coming to collect parcels at 12.15😡😡😡 Why offer the service ????

  • Goldyvictor26 Vishal Victor (@Goldyvictor26) reported from Urmston, England

@PostOffice can u train ur drivers to drive with Caution . Horrible drivers @PostOffice has

  • iampaulmcnally Paul McNally (@iampaulmcnally) reported from Manchester, England

@PostOffice To be honest am beyond caring. Took the packet to a different post office who accepted it, weren’t rude and unhelpful and generally made up for the shambles earlier in the day. If a customer can’t weigh to the accuracy required then there needs to be an option to add extra.

  • sixthdaybrewing Tom (@sixthdaybrewing) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@PostOffice Hi. I raised a complaint and haven’t heard anything back. I had a computer part go missing recently and Now a second computer part has gone missing from the same post office. I’ve posted lots of none computer stuff there and none of that has gone missing...

  • sixthdaybrewing Tom (@sixthdaybrewing) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@PostOffice @RoyalMailHelp According to Royal Mail they never had them.

  • iampaulmcnally Paul McNally (@iampaulmcnally) reported from Salford, England

If you lot spent as much time arguing how ridiculous it is that you can’t top up online postage rather than bitching about customer service trying to help, maybe the @PostOffice wouldn’t be on its arse as much. Dear god.

  • saj__azim Saj Azim Jimmy ساجد عظيم (@saj__azim) reported from Bolton, England

when you're sat at home not much to report miss the @postoffice been looking need help to get back there

@PostOffice @ijjeeezy But they will never get that time back, will they. They will never see full justice

  • qiunike Nick 🇪🇺🏳️‍🌈 (@qiunike) reported

I’m pretty sure @PostOffice #Horizon was investigated in the first issue of @PrivateEyeNews I ever bought in the late 90s or early 00s and repeatedly thereafter. Why is this only a scandal now? @BBCNews ?

  • earthbulb70 Chris (@earthbulb70) reported

@byronsbrain Cancelling stamped mail with a pen squiggle rather than traditional hand franking is becoming common practice nowadays. Lazy, unprofessional, and looks awful. @PostOffice @RoyalMail

  • HONEYLVN lulu 🌱 (@HONEYLVN) reported

@PostOffice why are your cheshunt staff so ****?????????

  • KevinLockyer3 Kevin Lockyer (@KevinLockyer3) reported

@VinylDealsUK @PostOffice To be fair to Ryan, I did ask yesterday whether it was PO policy to up seek (as the manager had claimed it was). I did not make a specific complaint and did not realise that my question had been treated as one, hence today’s Tweet

  • alison_pannell Ali-Pan (@alison_pannell) reported

@KeillerDon I worked as a sub postmaster at the time - they treated us with absolute contempt. Luckily it was a very small postoffice so when they said I was £100 down, I did manage to prove they were wrong - or perhaps they could not be bothered to do me for a small amount.

  • ThingsVegan all_things_vegan (@ThingsVegan) reported

@PostOffice @ijjeeezy Financial compensation would probably help many, but the proper compensation will be the real criminals being imprisoned.

  • Timwils47760806 Timmy 2 wheels (@Timwils47760806) reported

@GBNEWS Should be the Labour Party that pay out, It was Keir Starmer who was responsible for not looking at the problem. It was rather obvious that 700 people didn't all embezzle money from the postoffice.

  • MatthewRimmer Matthew Rimmer (@MatthewRimmer) reported

The @PostOffice scandal is so heartbreaking every time you hear about it - those poor employees wrongfully accused. The scale of it is mind-boggling. How did senior staff not twig sooner before accusing hundreds of fraud? @BBCNWT #PostOfficeScandal

  • NimitJethwa Nimit Jethwa (@NimitJethwa) reported

It's crazy hearing the @PostOffice say they can't afford to compensate the people whose lives they ruined. Well hears an idea, get a loan, use that money for the compensation and then get the bosses that cause the issue to pay the load back.
