Thankfully the Thai Government helped and agreed to pay to charter a boat to ferry us back, they saw our distress and how we were left. And the doctors really helped. We arrived home today. In shock. The day I lost my phone carrier signal we were lost & alone.

They weren’t tested by a checker pen or UV light to see if they were real, so the issue was that the staff did not recognise the NI notes rather than me trying to bank fake notes. V frustrating!

Took the packet to a different post office who accepted it, weren’t rude and unhelpful and generally made up for the shambles earlier in the day. If a customer can’t weigh to the accuracy required then there needs to be an option to add extra.

I’ve a £200 phone bill from chasing, crying down the phone. Heel dragging, missing forms to get access to medical records, then told “doctors closed sadly wait until Monday (the day of the flight)

Paul Onky (@CGarboid) reported@PostOffice Yes, you can upgrade a Freepost item to "Signed For" (recorded delivery) by taking it to a Post Office counter and paying the additional fee. While the recipient usually pays for Freepost, you pay to upgrade the service for extra tracking paying only for the recorded service upg
