Thankfully the Thai Government helped and agreed to pay to charter a boat to ferry us back, they saw our distress and how we were left. And the doctors really helped. We arrived home today. In shock. The day I lost my phone carrier signal we were lost & alone.

They weren’t tested by a checker pen or UV light to see if they were real, so the issue was that the staff did not recognise the NI notes rather than me trying to bank fake notes. V frustrating!

Took the packet to a different post office who accepted it, weren’t rude and unhelpful and generally made up for the shambles earlier in the day. If a customer can’t weigh to the accuracy required then there needs to be an option to add extra.

It is closing down and we are going to get a little counter in a shop in much smaller premises. As per report of SPM Tosham, no such instance regarding non booking of articles at 1400 hours occurred in tosham postoffice. In this regard, if complainant have some evidence in support of his/her allegation then please provide with complaint so that matter can be inquired accordingly.
