Credit to the staff who remained cheery and efficient throughout; seems the self service POS were down, which explains the extra queue-y queue! Thanks for responding.

The police/cps way isn’t perfect but I’d like to think they’d have worked out that 700+ people aren’t all ripping them off using exact same methods!

We have been though the automated system and checked on line which says the item is being returned to sender. But it hasn’t. We have been on hold for 26 minutes. Please help.

Caroline vickery (@Caddy9274) reported from Cardiff, Wales@PostOffice Hi Tom, there was a queue but the problem is only having one post office for the whole of Cardiff city centre.1000’s of workers with only an hour max for lunch, my office is at least 15 min walk away, 3/4 of break spent trying to post a parcel!!!

They start at the highest price and I have to keep saying “no, I don’t need that, what’s the cheapest?” several times until I get what is quoted online.

After dealing with the Camberwell branch and now their head office appeals team, it genuinely makes you wonder… maybe the Postmasters scandal wasn’t actually a scandal at all. Maybe those convictions were genuine and real after all. Weekly magazines, supposed to arrive on a Friday for the weekend, arrive on Saturday or even Monday afterwards. Letters take a week to travel down the road.
