@mariaspears Good isn’t it. I’m a bit of a *** with a lot of this but from the outside in the @PostOffice seem to have half arsed this from day dot because imo they thought the tax payers money would make it all go away and it would never see the court room.

  • K_Etherington
Keith Etherington (@K_Etherington) reported from Telford and Wrekin, England

@PostOffice Oh dear... resorting to pre-internet tech for a web only offer. 🙈 Might just be best to let your website developers know there’s a problem. And fix it.

  • LeighaWhite_91
Leigha (@LeighaWhite_91) reported from Hadley, England

@PostOffice seriously need to give your staff some customer service training.

@nickwallis @GMB @piersmorgan @KTHopkins @mrjamesob @SkyNews @BBCNews @Channel4News hi guys, I know I am a pain but this is real, people are dying whilst others lives are in shreds due to real deep seeded bad intentions from the @PostOffice over many years. Please help out innocent people 👍🏻

I’m shocked to hear that the Police were never involved in the Post Office #Horizon scandal. How can an employer pursue someone even to court on a criminal allegation without involving the Police? Such disgraceful behaviour by @PostOffice

  • GilllianNash
    GCTN (@GilllianNash) reported

@PostOfficeNews @PostOffice An apology is nowhere near adequate. People within the PO were aware of issues with Horizon, but still staff were persecuted. The Post Office can never recompense people enough. There should be criminal charges. How do you sleep?

  • terry_moran1
Terry Moran CB 💙 (@terry_moran1) reported

@VarchasPatel @PostOffice You and your family and many others have had to go through so much it’s a terrible tragedy. I do hope Justice will eventually be served and those responsible for the injustice are held to account.

  • CurlewAccounts
    Curlew Accounting (@CurlewAccounts) reported

@tentspitch @BBCRadio2 The whole situation is a disgrace! How could @PostOffice think that so many employees were trying to defraud at the same time. Surely someone in a position of management should have raised the possibility that it was an issue with a new computer system. Suitable compensation now!

  • TonyRome51
    Simon Oliver (@TonyRome51) reported

I hope those sub postmasters & staff who were convicted following the @PostOffice Investigations sue the crap out of them.

  • robwatts
    Robert (@robwatts) reported

@SamJaneBastone @RoyalMail @PostOffice Some of those prosecutions did start under Royal Mail. Interesting bit of blame shifting by the PO chairman suggesting that they did try and stop prosecutions when they became separated as businesses. Awful business all round. Ruined lives for sure.

  • Kilkeerock
    Siobhan O'Connell (@Kilkeerock) reported

@SeemaMisra7 @PostOffice @fujitsu_uk Fantastic news - just seen you on TV news. So happy for you but what a terrible ordeal you and other innocent people have gone through.

  • wilsondan
    Dan Wilson (@wilsondan) reported

There's a worrying tone in the @PostOffice 'Horizon' story media coverage (esp on @BBCNews) that the problem was the technology. "It was the software." No! It's a story of institutional bullying, lying management, shameless cover up and self-interest. Humans are the villains.

  • Nico_Macdonald
    Nico Macdonald (@Nico_Macdonald) reported

@adhib @nickwallis Yes, people motivated to think the worst of those whose livelihoods they shaped. The @PostOffice was allowed to be a ‘prosecuting authority’ and if one considers its history and importance, going back to the Tudors, its militant and harsh treatment of people is not so surprising.

  • JaneSRolfe
    Jane Spencer-Rolfe (@JaneSRolfe) reported

@guardian This is an absolute scandal - it sticks in the craw that this woman could have walked away from the #PostOffice with £5million Those poor innocent employees, falsely accused and convicted - imprisoned in some cases. It honestly beggars belief! How does she sleep at night?! 🤬😥
