@santanderuk what kind of customer care do you provide? We can no longer receive paper cheque in post, you have to transfer to online. No probs but you charge your client an admin fee. You charge me for a service I didn’t request and to receive my own money. #shoddy #shameonyou

Calling the customer care line for @santanderuk makes you lose the will to live. I hung up after the third time the automated voice told me to inexplicably make a recording of my own voice for “security purposes”.

@AdrianBethune @santanderuk We also had a similar issue on our mortgage with @Santanderuk and ended up with Halifax. The trouble these days is that so much of banking is run of algorithms rather than human input - fine most of the time but doesn't allow for any common sense or perspective.

@santanderuk having one member of staff working the counter every day is insane. There is a queue of 7 people and this isn’t just a one off. It’s every time I’ve come in here. Such a terrible bank.

@santanderuk Please employ more people - 3 days - 4 hours mostly on hold listening to awful music - no call back when promised. Problem remains unsolved- Really frustrating!!!!! Please listen to your customers , your one member of staff must dread picking up the phone .
