    Calling the customer care line for @santanderuk makes you lose the will to live. I hung up after the third time the automated voice told me to inexplicably make a recording of my own voice for “security purposes”.

    @santanderuk My wife transferred some money to my daughter on October 11th. The money left our account but hasn’t arrived yet! It’s not the first time we’ve transferred money to her but normally it goes through straightaway. Can you fix this please?

    @santanderuk what kind of customer care do you provide? We can no longer receive paper cheque in post, you have to transfer to online. No probs but you charge your client an admin fee. You charge me for a service I didn’t request and to receive my own money. #shoddy #shameonyou

    I seriously am shocked at @santanderuk - the people, many of them elderly and this probably means no access to online banking, standing for ages and ages in a queue in Lewisham branch. It is truly shameful…

    @santanderuk @santanderukhelp 3 weeks+ since all documentation was sent to open an account and still nothing. 1hour+ on the phone for someone to say, you are having problems with the accounts and to just wait. I had thought of moving my account with you, now I'm not sure sure.

    @amskates1 @Wightout66 I wrote to ask whether they understood what the new flag stood for or whether they had blindly adopted it. No response from this genuine customer. Now in process of looking for new bank. There's some great deals out there. bye bye @santanderuk

    @santanderuk u advertise 2 help put astop 2scammers but my account got hacked &even though it was from a very dodgy site udidn’t pick up on it!!! I’m on the phone now trying 2sort it currently waiting to speak to a 4th person I have been trying 2 sort it 4 nearly an hour now 😡

    I’ve wasted about 4 hours over the last few days on the phone to @santanderuk trying to sort an account problem out only to be told go into a branch - branches are open 9:30am to 3pm and 75% are closed at the weekend 🙃. How is this helpful to ANYONE with a job/life??

    @santanderuk is taking 10 days to decide if trey will “grant me” access to my own money. I won’t be able to pay my rent because Santander does not allow to access my account. Great security policy!!!

    @MartinSLewis @GMB I’m being forced to pay over £2,000 by @santanderuk to exit a mortgage that only has 3 months to run to term. I’ve sent letters but they refuse to even drop the amount and I’m at my wits end. Can you help me please because they seem not to care at all
