    So NO TV until Wednesday due to an ongoing problem since 6th May @SkyUK and a 72 wait for a call back ! The complaint handler told me the manager would say exactly the same as her. I won’t tell you what my reply was to that albeit it was polite.

    Very frustrating, we moved house and @SkyHelpTeam gave us a new ex-directory number, we haven't given that number out at all as we use our mobiles, we get calls daily from sky technical team saying how we have problems with our broadband and we know they're scams. What can we do

    @SkyHelpTeam I wasn't impressed with the stage 1 of my contract renewal process im a gold VIP member so I should get the latest deals if this doesn't improve I will be looking to cancel and i don't want to do that 😩

    @SkyHelpTeam Yes I've done all that it says it's working but as soon as i try to connect sky box, mobile phone or anything else i get message saying network access denied

    @SkyHelpTeam my broadband (not great at the best of times) has been next to useless over the last couple of days yet you seem to report no problems in Caernarfon, can you look into it please because when I run a test you keep telling me it's ok

    @SkyHelpTeam If I had known it would be such a hassle to cancel down just part of a sky package I would never have bothered in the 1st place.

    @jammierooroo @SkyUK To clarify my rather abrupt statement - I have Now TV which is broadband version of Sky - you pay for the channels you wish to watch, and as I do not pay the BBC scam tax I can't and don't watch live TV. I signed up to the entertainment package - around £5 a month (on 6 month offer) - I never, or at least very rarely watch it and will not be renewing it. As for their movie channel - why bother? Paramount and Apple TV, via Amazon Prime provide better content and this is a shame as I used to like and enjoy Sky entertainment series (US based) and then suddenly they went 100% woke and just lost the plot in content and quality - same great actors, awful scripts and screenplay. In my opinion of course.

    @jammierooroo @SkyUK You can invoke the cooldown clause. With every contract like this, there's a fixed amount of time during which you can cancel without any penalties.

    @jammierooroo @SkyUK I was told by their team that I couldn’t cancel on the phone - had to be done via online chat. Opening statement “ I want to cancel and do not wish to renew my contract” Ignored me repeating this 1 hour to get to the point where they agreed to cancel after offer after offer.

    @kinlochleven7 @jammierooroo @SkyUK They want to talk you into staying. When TNT got the football i rang up to cancel and switch to virgin as that was included. The guy jumped through hoops to save me £35 quid, he took small amounts here and there, discounted broadband the lot

    @jammierooroo @SkyUK Put a complaint in and ask for the call to be reviewed. You have to tell them you raising a complaint or otherwise they will ignore it

    @jammierooroo @SkyUK Dreadful customer service, always were. I called them to cancel my father's contract after his death and was passed on "cold" twice, so I had to say "my father has died" 3 times. You'll know how distressing that is, and completely different to every other service provider he had

    @skyuk continued to take money out my account without service, said they will refund . Until today nothing. No calls. Every time I call, they say the other person agreed to terms that’s incorrect.
