@JeffStelling Agreed Jeff. Meanwhile, will @SkySports stay clear of this? They have been part of the commodification of elite football. As a Spurs fan, this isn't just worse than never winning a league, or losing the Champion's League Final. It's worse than relegation in 1977.

@CharCromx @officiallydale I hope more fans shun the clubs for doing this and support lower league clubs. Except for likes of Salford we have Gary Nev slagging clubs off when they have a billionaire backer in lower league football just a hypocrite being @SkySports mouth piece.

@DNXN90 @Brock_FC @SkySports I don’t make u wrong but that’s the job they choose Motor racing drivers are at a huge risk. These cars are made faster and faster now NO ONE in this world needs to earn £500k a week or £2m a fight etc. NO ONE! None should happen but how often is a real bad Injury in boxing?

Remeber when 'Fans' were losing their jobs last year and @SkySports decided to start charging £15 to watch a game! Your part of the problem!! The sport is your cash cow too.

@DNXN90 @Brock_FC They get paid anyway. @SkySports have played a MASSIVE part in sport becoming what it is, for good and bad. But when these clubs get even more greedy don’t forget where it started. Boxers do deserve it, so do motor racing drivers and footballers etc but they deserve that much?

@dankubon @SkySports Hope not, I was looking forward to no VAR. It'll all come down to if UEFA and FIFA have the bollocks to stand up to the clubs and say if they go through with the plans they'll be kicked out of their domestic leagues and players will be ineligible for international teams
